You have 3 cars to fill? I guess its a case of panic buying when you've filled all three :rotfl::rotfl:

Well my GF's car is filled (with LPG) every other day, without it she would be stuck in the house and unable to work. She is not changing her refuelling pattern. Not sure if a tanker drivers strike will affect LPG supplies in any case?

Mine is filled roughly once a fortnight (with diesel) and was filled just before this, so I've not changed my refuelling pattern.

The Cefiro is a combination of a toy and an emergency spare, yes we're that dependent on cars for work that we've always had a spare car. That car needed filling anyway.

    So no, not panic buying.

And everyone else in those queues is saying the same thing to themselves.

    5t,
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

I refuse to queue so planned to check out a couple of petrol stations this morning as I had quarter of a tank and need to get my son to his skiing trip this weekend plus work on Monday. Got petrol straight away, station was busy but I only had to wait for 1 car in front of me. That was after I dropped kids off at school at 8.35am.

It's a horrendous thing to happen to the poor lady in the article, but she was transferring petrol between two jerry cans, in her kitchen, while also using her gas hob which ignited the fuel. I think the sunshine has made people lose all common sense. :(

I'm not refuelling because if the country goes any more barmy I'll probably have some !!!!!! siphoning my tank.

That woman gets a Darwin award - sorry.

However, strikes now ruled out for Easter so well done those who boosted government coffers this week!

    5t,

What queues? I haven't been in one yet.

My GF probably will end up in one, but no choice really. Her LPG tank is good for 2.5 days commuting. What she hasn't done is brimmed the petrol tank. She still has about 3 months worth of petrol left it in anyway, or enough for one commute if no LPG.

I imagine those stupid enough to be panic buying are too stupid to understand LPG so she'll probably be alright.

Providing they don't all do what they normally do and park too far forward blocking the LPG pump because it's near to the petrol pump. When I fill up that car I've had to use some "creative" positions sometimes, but she doesn't like doing that.

Announced on the news Unite isn't even considering a strike until after Easter assuming one occurs at all.

All those morons queuing for hours to get £10 of petrol.....
