its awful
I wonder how much custom they will lose because of this?
and again
whats your answer?
they are still expected to provide a set price national 6 day service
there are 2 million more addresses since 2003
they have lost millions due to down stream access
so where do you fund it?0 -
Thank you.
I sell breakable items and at the moment have a struggle to keep some of the smaller pieces under 500g and have to use lots of bubble wrap even though it is not cheap. In future I could afford to use the cheaper but heavier paper packaging for bulking out a box and still be within the same weight bracket. 749 g currently costs me £2.61 but will be £2.20 in future (if I have read correctly).
My problem will be the items that I currently sell that have to go as a packet yet weigh Less than 100g and I may seriously have to reconsider selling them. I did give up several lines when Pricing in proportion came in for a similar reason.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I wonder how many sellers coulds increase their turn over for access to Tracked0 -
Currently two (letter size) first class stamps equal large letter second 100g-250g (48p+48p=96p)
The new large letter second 100g-250g price will be £1.10 so it would be a 1st class and a 2nd class (60p+50p)
And this works for any combination, 1st and 2nd for any parcel? Just put an amount on that covers the required postage for the size and weight of the parcel? Preferably as close to the required price, but not under...
If so, for dvd parcels it will be well worth stocking up and you'll save 10p ? current 1st + current second = 82p better than the 92p they want at the moment?0 -
Im seriously considering whether to continue selling on ebay (personal seller)0

I suppose the problem could be if the royal mail changed the prices at any point in the year, are the rm known for doing this or is it a once a year thing only?0 -
