    rather surprised at this post.
The whole point of the survey is too ensure you post at the given times and if at a post office it is done correctly.
If one is going to post when they feel like it then the whole point in doing the survey is lost. For example they ask you to post after 13.00 now the box you post it may have a last collection time of 14.30.Going by you reasoning you post the item at 09.30,a relief collection is then carried out at 11.30 however the last collection is not carried out for some reason(as an ex postie I know it happens) then this will not be recorded because you decided to post it before the given time.

But it would be recorded online; so for your example you would record online the postage time as being 0930hrs.

yes,but they wouldnt know there was no further collection, after that point of collection.

Although I'm not doing the main survey at the moment they have invited me to do a Correctly Delivered one at the start of July.

Found this funny, how the hell am i supposed to fit the small box into a post box? I'm going to take it to the post office, the only way it can be posted. should I email them to tell them this?
Re: amount of items, I've had 6 in a week but some on the same day.

I had one of these the other week I just recorded the time I posted it and where. I just took it into the post office and gave it them. They asked what it was I just told them i was just returning something I had bought and the business had sent me a prepaid box. Hth :)

There is a chance that there is too many people in your area on the survey. However, they might not just have any thing for you too post that week like me the other week. hth :)
  • Thanks. I've now paid the fee online but I've got to wait up to 5 days for delivery of the item! I will try again tomorrow to call them - they are probably just busy after the bank holiday.

This happened to me a few weeks back and it was a survey item.

I put the correct amount of postage stamps on the card that put through my door and resent it and they delivered the item.

I rang and managed to get through to the survey people and they said this shouldn't have happened, so the stamp had either fallen off or it had not been put on and the person sending it hadn't noticed.

She apologised and sent me 6 1st class stamps, so that I wan't out of pocket.

    Hope this helps.
