And perhaps, if you're standing around by post boxes for 10 mins to get the times exactly right, you're maybe taking it all a bit too seriously.
After all, many of mine are "post after 10am". Well, that's simply not convenient for me. I'm working then. So I post at about 7am on my way to work and put 7am on the website. The TNS have never objected.
A thought,
interpretation of "between 10 and 1.00" -
= 10 minutes to 1 pm = 12.50 pm
There's precision for you which I hadn't considered before.0 -

Second: Packet to be posted between 10 and 1.00. I posted at 12.50 but as last post collection was 12.00 system won't let me register time.
Any suggestions please.
Hi
Is the last collection time correct? Doesn't that mean you posted it after the last collection?Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -

I have posted after last collection on the odd occasion when I have been unable to get to a box earlier. It does not cause any problem with RM as long as you record the details accurately.
In fact this week, I posted a letter before the last scheduled collection but noticed that the day had already been altered and it definitely sounded as though the box was empty. As it had a smart in it presumably it will record that in addition to my information.0 -
Sorry to confuse everyone. I had two postings for Saturday. The first a packet to post between 10 and 1 at the post office. This was my first Saturday posting so I had no idea that the last post went at 12.00 so I posted it at 12.50.
The second posting was a box which was to be posted after 1 pm and had to be handed over the counter at the post office. Hence the hanging around between one posting and the other.
I've always posted within and where instructions tell me to the extent I arrange my day around posting times. Sad I know.
Everything has now been entered and accepted so I'm up-to-date.0 -

:rotfl::rotfl:I meant post between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm. It was just coincidence that I posted at '10 to 1'.0 -

Don't worry too much about posting during the specified time. If it is convenient to do so then all is well and good. If, however, you are unable to post during the time slot then just make sure that your mailings are made at some time that day and before the last collection. Again, if you are unable to post on the correct day then hold on to the letters/package until the same day the following week.0 -
They don't like stopping the retraining when you are on holiday. My friend who is also on the panel is away for the next two weeks but still has packs on the system for posting. So, will have about 4-6 for posting when they return.0

Love the free paper they send me with the packets. More than I normally use. Just wish I could find a use for the free stamps.GONE ENGLAND0

I've just used a load of my stamps to post Ebay sales and the paper inside the jiffy bags is being used to print leaflets about the campaign to save our local green space.0
