can you get student discout off stamps at superdrug?

They don't accept normal student cards (even though mine says nus!) - only nus extra. They seem to be quite strict here. Shame, they'd get loads more business.

I just bought 200 2nd Class stamps from Staples online (9.09% cashback from topcashback (can provide referral and donate a cut but will not post here as don't want to break rules). Cost me £72 delivered (cost price), but after topcashback and credit card cashback will work out £65.10 (while value will go up to £100 April 30th). Also got 120 1st Class stamps from Ocado for 27p per stamp (after topcashback, ocado discount, credit card cashback) delivered. Sorted for life, although at this rate I'll be able to send letters from after the grave too. Might sell them for around 25% profit :)

Ah well, easy come easy go. I'll make an order from elsewhere instead. I'll need some anyhow. Perhaps the Tesco deal which gives more off anyhow. Thanks for the info :)

Can anyone please tell me, are stamps still available anywhere at the lower price, or has the price gone up everywhere as of today? TIA x

ETA: Sorry, please ignore me - for some reason I had the dates all wrong in my head. Whoops!

The new packet price for packets up to 750g is £2.20 which you will be able to make up with 2 x 1st class plus 2 x 2nd class.

I am looking into this because I do a lot of the cheapest 2nd class packet which will be £2.20.

I dont do a lot of first so I will just buy loads of normal 2nd class, and for £2.20 use 4x 2nd (new price 50p) plus a 20p stamp. Current cost of this is £1.64, not bad since it costs more than that to post it now!!!

(obviously the 4x 2nd plus 20p will only work AFTER 30th April).

    Gary.

At Costco you get ten books of first class for £25 I think. We got £103 worth for our business and saved £10 overall. This probably won't last very long.. will have to stock up again before the increase!
