    My brothers were adopted when they were 6 they are now 26 I'm 34.

    I found and met up with one of them 3 years ago. The other doesn't want to know. It was ok for a year or so. He then expressed interest in meeting our mum and dad (who are divorced) so I arranged it.

    He has since distanced himself from me and last week I found he has changed his phone number and deleted me from facebook. So I have lost him twice. I'm so upset about it I don't know where I went wrong.

    How awful for you. However I very much doubt it was down to something you did wrong - more than likely something inside of him that he couldn't deal with or face.

    And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better

    UPDATE,
    As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted
