You may have read it but I expect "business is business." Most people have their price if the offer is high enough. I would like to think that Utility Warehouse will carry on in the same way that it was started but I am not so naive as to blindly accept everything I'm told, especially if Quentin writes it, the lovable old bigot.OldGreyFox wrote: »I thought i read somewhre that Charles wouldnt sell the business.
BTW, has he given YOU a link to his Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card without telling the rest of us?
I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Correct. And I do not "need" to buy utilities from British Gas to benefit from the Utility Warehouse pre payment card either. Jannine is finding her own route to saving that suits her. I have found my own route to saving that suits me as I pay Utility Warehouse less for my utilities than I would to any other company or combination of companies. I accept that your decision to obtain your gas and electricity form British Gas suits you, so why can't you accept that my decision suits me, or that other Utility Warehouse customers are happy with their decision too?You do not need to have gas and electricity with UW to benefit from the 'cash'back card.

I wasn't looking for a reply but found by accident that SSE have a 10% discount card. pity the list of retailers is very limited, no grocery companies but its still 10%.1carminestocky wrote: »NO OTHER CARD offers the level of cashback/discount/Quentin's 'amount paid into your account'
call it what you will. Agreed?
I didnt bother doing any research on it, I have no interest in such things but I'm sure someone will get stuck in.0 -

There is a Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card? Not until you provide the link to it, you affectionate old bigot you. :rolleyes:Are you expecting us to believe thatThe mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Not usually, the distributor does get a badge and "mention in despatches" though. There are bonuses for rapid progression but the targets are rarely met as most people just do not put in the work required. The average number of customers per independent distributor has been quoted as nine. A few years ago, it was four. There are a LOT of people who signed up as distributors who have no customers at all because they think that customers will flock to them without they themselves putting in any effort. As previously stated, 50 is the number of "live" customers required to maintain maximum commission on those customers. Drop below 50 and the payments fall too, until another customer is signed up. From zero, sign up just one customer every month and the payments will also go up every month.jellygoodfellow wrote: »Dont the distributor and their introducer recieve a nice lump sum when they reach 50 Customers?

It hasn't got anything to do with whether the business is sold or not. It's just that Quentin has stated that he has a Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card and has so far refused to post a link to it. Just a gentle reminder to the lovable old bigot.OldGreyFox wrote: »i have no idea what your on about. Has it got anything to do with whether the business is sold or not?
I have not heard anything about the sale of the business. And, I suspect that if other takeovers are anything to go by, I'll be the last to know. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.
