Very nice laptop bargain if you are a UW customer (especially!). I have this laptop myself and it's excellent for the cash! A decent no-frills specification (3gb RAM and Athlon processor). Superb (acer) 15.6" widescreen screen. No good if you are a gamer, of course. BTW, it's an Acer in disguise (but not a very good disguise, lol). £299.99.

Use the 3% discount code on topcashback to get it down to £290. Go through topcashback for 3.5% cashback (another £10.50 off), then of course pay for it on your UW card and get a rather nice £14.55 off your UW bill. A 'net' £265 for UW customers. Plenty of bangs for one's buck!Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
(Putting on customer's hat as opposed to shareholders hat here) Please God, let this be not true:

Rumour of the day
Could Telecom Plus be a target for Carphone? FinnCap argues that, post-demerger next year, its TalkTalk unit may look to promote further growth from its residential base with products such as gas and electricity. Telecom Plus would be the only suitable platform if TalkTalk looks to acquire over the next couple of years. Telecom Plus slipped 8p to 304½p.Call me Carmine....

I thought this was a special area for the discussion of Utility Warehouse (Telecom Plus). Not electrical bargains.:rotfl:0

:rotfl:It certainly IS a discussion area for UW. My post was entirely relevant, positive and helpful (beats yours on 3 counts here) to UW customers who I'm assuming read this thread. If they are after a laptop, what's the problem with pointing out a decent bargain for anyone, made much better of course by using the UW card?

I thought i read somewhre that Charles wouldnt sell the business.
If it happens i wonder if they would still sell via the the MLM route.
I recall that Carphone considered MLM some time ago but they discounted the idea.0 -
