Leave it Cardew, it's really not good for your blood pressure. :p

    On the contrary!

That was nowhere near that abusive post of yours!

But should anyone not know about big al, he was a speaker the reps paid to attend a rally to hear. His talk on how the reps could use mind bending techniques was recorded for posterity:

    http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/rejection-free-presentation-big-al.html

    Still as predictable as ever.

You still think people can control the mind and will of others Quentin.

I guess you think Distributors hypnotise a prospect with their piggy shaped card by saying:-
Look at my pig, my pig, my pig. Look into my eyes, my eyes, my eyes. You will sign up and you will recommend people. You will be happy. Now sign here.

Or could it be that people look at the overall UW package and see that it is very good and that's why they sign and why UW is highly regarded in the Which plus many other independent reviews in national press.

Big al is just showing ways of getting past peoples initial scepticism and his presentation style is humorous. I don't use those methods myself, nothing wrong with them, they are just American.

Seems more likely that long ago you ran out of valid arguments against UW so just resort to make some up like the the UW beating cashback card.

edit: oops, actually I have read through this thread quite extensively and still cannot find a valid argument against UW.

In your case I genuinely do . Whilst I can't actually stand Cardew the poster (I'm assuming you're not really like this offline or heaven forbid those around you) I genuinely wouldn't want you to expire mid-post as its content very probably wouldn't provide a fitting epitaph. Whilst I know the written word doesn't convey true feelings, it's pretty clear you take this all incredibly seriously, and explode at the slightest (perceived) provocation. Try and stay calm in future, it really is better for you.
    Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

I go on to say Quentin, Cardew, Jimixbox and the the AUWF in general.

I am always open minded and look at things from all perspectives.

I still haven't found anything bad in UW. If I thought your argument had any validity then I for one would listen. However I have already done that over the last few months and given you the benefit of the doubt but still cannot find any valid argument against UW. I have even read back through the year before as well. Your argument against UW are already far fetched and can simply be put right and have already done so many times over yet you refuse to listen. You just bring up the same points over and over again as if they are true. You have already been accused of being repetitive by a number of people. You are becoming even more far fetched lately. When will this all come to an end or are you still going to be saying the same things when UW has well over 1000000 satisfied customers because that's looking likely soon. Why waste your time.

So where are the abusive comments from me then Quentin.

Don't think we ever have seen a company rep post anything like this anywhere on MSE:

How do you see this post as enhancing the reputation of either uw or its reps?

I obviously have you on the defensive Quentin. When pushed you resort to all sorts of incredulous claims and taking people out of context and then you eventually make a mistake, for instance the UW beating cashback card.

That is a joke, it is not harmful in any way towards anyone. It means how can you knock UW without trying it. wondering why you find that personally offensive.

    I can do that.

    Thank you.

My new supplier and tariff is EDF and is called Online Energy v5.1

I've had a check through and can't see anything that may cause me any problems. Is anybody else on here with EDF?

I think the only adverse comment I have read is that it only guarantees to be 2% below their standard tariff rates to July 2010.

Currently it is more than 2% below their standard rate. So they could close that differential and/or change their standard rate price.

However all non-fixed tariffs could do the same.

Just keep your eyes open for any changes in the rate(they have to notify you) and switch if you need to. Hopefully it won't be necessary.

I've changed supplier, so will no longer use UW for gas and electric.[ /QUOTE]If it is not right for you, it is not right for you and that's fine by me.
