Can I just echo Mike's best wishes to janninew on the impending arrival and also on her switch of energy supplier. They say kids drive you mad but keep you sane, a view I would wholeheartedly agree with! I wouldn't imagine your employer would believe he/she was causing you a real headache by giving you free broadband but that's exactly what they did, lol.
Cardew is of course entirely correct in his assertion that your energy use will rise on the arrival of your bundle of joy but I also hope he asserted that so will your telephone calling costs! Keep a very close eye on the new energy tariff and your call charges, janninew. And try and avoid a tariff with an exit fee, if at all possible, just in case (certainly in my Yorkshire region EDFs online 5 is the cheapest without an exit fee).Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
Quentin, I am happy as a customer with UW and am also a distributor. I have never posted anything contrary to that.
No you cannot get into trouble from your "upstream bosses" for negativism.
Nevertheless your childish sigs/abusive personal comments etc on this thread have done little to enhance the reputation of uw or its reps.0 -
LOL. I never thought it would ever happen but I've found someone with an even worse case of obsessiveness than myself!Call me Carmine....

So where are the abusive comments from me then Quentin.
It seems that if someone posts anything positive about UW you see that as abuse. It also seems that if you are put right when you are wrong you see that as abuse. It seems the only thing you won't see as abuse is your own statements. I leave it up to others if they think you have been abusive towards them.
UW DistributorQuentin's Cashback Card?

Thanks for the best wishes Carmine and Mike! I'm very excited to say the least!
I have looked through the terms and conditions of my new tariff and I cannot see an exit fee, but maybe its well hidden! I have printed all the information out and will read through tonight. I believe I have 12 days to cancel if I change my mind! I'm not to concerned about my call costs as most of my friends are out at work during the day, so I won't have anybody to talk too! Also the 3 people I talk to the most are all with Talktalk so they can ring me for free. I have it all planned out!
If I give the name of my new supplier/tariff will anybody be willing to have alook and see if they can see any catches, exit fees etc that I may have missed?:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

The fact that you have to ask probably says enough!
But here's one picked at random (I have quoted the full post):
If I remember correctly you were trying to infer that UW Distributors were using big al mind control methods. You were put right by a number of distributors at the time and no-one in the AUWF came to your defence. Everyone came to the conclusion that what you were saying wasn't truthful. For that matter it is exactly the same as your often quoted UW beating cashback card. Where is it?
In any case what did you think I said when I wrote
anagram of "Halt Stink Inquest" is
Quentin talks ****Quentin's Cashback Card?

Scan through the posts for the personal insults here and come back and tell me who made them. You won't find any from me.
So I scanned your posts - no personal insults in these posts of yours then?
Your paranoia on this is breathtaking really.
You have more faces than a set of dice.
His intense paranoia about all things UW is clouding his judgement
You're behaving like a 5 year old, and that's a little hard on the kid!
You've turned into Peter Mandelson again.
Do you ever dare to leave your house? Your paranoia must make your life a living hell.
Just when I thought you couldn't get any more amusing, you break the boundaries again
An alterer what? Sorry? Are we speaking in tongues now
I'd get some tablets for that if I were you mate
Haha, someone who sneaked up and pulled all the hems out of your pants whilst you weren't looking
You are probably on most people's ignore list jim.
Priceless
Let's leave it up to that independent observer to judge who the mature, rational, sensible one is here, eh? You think it's you, We can make allowances for that.0 -

That was nowhere near that abusive post of yours!
But should anyone not know about big al, he was a speaker the reps paid to attend a rally to hear. His talk on how the reps could use mind bending techniques was recorded for posterity:
The Utility Warehouse again welcomed Big Al to the stage to cover the concept of using the right word sequences to encourage a more receptive response from those people who are evaluating the Utility Warehouse business for the first time.
Ready to go out talking with some prospects. Manipulating the minds of others for fun and profit. Please give me a presentation rejection free. Sequence of words. Instant results. say words and people respond in a consistent way amd ypu get lots of presentations. Taking advantage of other peoples programing so that they beleive what you say. We do this all the time without even thinking about it. Lets stop this being a random act and give the process some focus. Once you learn the magic sequence of words everything gets easy. Stop working hard and start working effectivley. Control their mind and freeze their brain with four words..."I just found out...", "there are two types of people in the world", "if you are willing to fill out a simple one page form then, you could get a disscount on all of your utilities",
