Nige, you're making yourself look silly. It's almost as embarressing as Keggs asking for Q's logon to another site. Anyone else fancy sharing that kind of detail on a public forum? You made a false statement in those particular words. >>>(It sems having 50 is a crucial level in the uw mlm/pyramid operation to trigger more monthly payments).<<< You admitted that these were your words. Why give false information?
Q has said what happened, and other posters have commented on it. I saw the post too. Maybe rewording it will help. (Unless you are deliberately reposting the same question to push the answer further back?)
A poster was asking UW IDs to sell him customers so he could go back up above 50 to maintian his payments.
IDs have confirmed that if you do not continue to recruit one customer a month your payments cease, unless you have more than 50 customers.
So for the poster in question, having 50 customers would trigger more payments.0 -
At a rough count ~150 tariffs and UW's cheapest comes aroun 47.
Although there are a lot that are the same tariff with a different payment method (like the bottom 3), so it's not really a comparison of tariffs, but tarriffs & payment methods together.
Also the low & medium users for UW (DD) cost the same?0 -
Loads more than 73, that's for sure. Maybe Cardew has his laptop linked to that rather special TV of his - things appear on that TV that just don't appear on others.
PS Is that right - UW don't charge any premium on punters who pay their bills by quarterly DD? On the figures shown on that link Websaver 4 is just £2 cheaper than UW standard tariff when paid by quarterly DD. With a £60 exit fee. Crikey.Call me Carmine....

So for the poster in question, having 50 customers would trigger more payments.
Quentin's inference was that the level of payment will increase when 50 customers are reached and that is incorrect. The point I am making is that Quentin offers false information and refuses to acknowledge it. He is either mistaken and an apology is perfectly acceptable, or, he is lying. As he will not answer directly, we can not see which it is.
Shouldn't you declare your interest in the utilities business?
I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

I did not offer false information, I have answered your question a number of times (why do you keep posting it parrot like?), I'm not mistaken, an apology is unnecessary, and to suggest I am lying is just an attempt to cause trouble.
I didn't "infer" anything.
As I (and now others) have tried to explain to you, the 50+ level of customers wasn't brought up by me, but the uw rep who posted a thread for the attention of the uw reps who come to MSE.
He offered to buy some customers from the reps. He stated that his offer to buy customers was so that he could get up to 50 customers so that he'd get extra payment to what he is currently receiving!
There was no other way to interpret his statement regarding this.
You have explained that 50 is a significant level for getting monthly payments - so what is your beef (squawk) really about?
(And why in the many posts you have repeated about this is there no comment on the rights or wrongs of uw reps coming here buying and selling each other customers? We are told by keggs the role of a uw rep is more building relationships (and visiting fellow members in their own homes to solve problems for them) than selling them on to colleagues to help maximise their commission - but these two images of how uw reps view their fellow club members are incompatible!)0 -
Nige, read this again:So for the poster in question, having 50 customers would trigger more payments.Incorrect. Having 50 customers does not trigger more payments. Keeping at least 50 customers means that a certain level of payments will be maintained.
Does that make sense now?
Who my employee is (British Gas) bears no relevance on the accuracy of the above post. Does being a UW ID affect what you post?0 -
Yet again, the bigots (as Quentin would say about his 'gullibles' this term is used affectinoately  so it's fine) in the AUWF take as indisputable truth that this alleged poster was totally genuine and not just out to cause trouble. It's funny, every poster who paints UW in a good light is ridiculed, questioned, asked for proof, accused of being a distributor blah blah blah, but any poster who posts summat that paints UW in a less than good light is immediately accepted as some sort of super hero. We get the same every time the bitter, failed distributor johnjames posts his stuff on here then disappears - instant acceptance without question. It's very enlightening as to your motives.
PS And, yes, Nigel, SwanJon *should* reveal the fact he derives his livelihood from British Gas in this thread - to not do would be potentially misleading the reader IMO. I know he has always stated he doesn't post in an official capacity, but neither do the UW reps. One rule for one etc...Call me Carmine....

Could anyone other than Cardew count the entries please and report back how many there are? Are there 73, or are there more?
Thanks.
Just not good enough!!
You originally stated UW were in 36th position on the list.
If you look at the list for payment by Direct Debit UW are indeed in 36th position. However, as I stated, that list gives 73 Tariffs.
You now have come up with another list(showing all methods of payment) where UW are not in 36th position but 46th position and that list obviously has a lot more tariffs.
So your little sleight of hand using one list to show UW in 36th position and then using another list to show more than 73 tariffs has backfired.
I also find it rather ironic that you seem quite proud that UW are in 36th or 46th position and only 32.2% more expensive than the cheapest tariff.
Now perhaps you can explain what appears to be suspiciously like another sleight of hand.
In post #8208 you stated:
I would save about £70-75 based on my current supplier by switching to EDF.
Now according to the link you so kindly posted, you pay £473 with Atlantic and would pay £360 with EDF so if my arithmetic is correct that is £113 savings not ‘£70-£75’ So you have underestimated your savings by over 60%.
As said in an earlier post, you really should become a UW salesman –fudging figures and then expressing outrage when exposed seems to be the stock in trade of many.0 -
HaHa - Cardew done up like a kipper! Of course, you would NEVER get involved in 'sleight of hand' to try and justify your argument, oh no. :rolleyes:Call me Carmine....
