Do you ever dare to leave your house? Your paranoia must make your life a living hell.

Well you turned up in this thread claiming to be an impartial sagely legal expert who was extremely concerned that fellow MSE members could be unfairly libelling Which? magazine. Obviously your first thoughts were for our welfare and the thoughts of being a Bubba's !!!!! when we sent down for a stretch. You left a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach think that you were a genuine poster.

Then come this weekend the bombshell, you turned informer (allegedly:rotfl:). Your altruistic thoughts had left you all of a sudden. Very odd behaviour, indicative of a poster with an alterer motive, possibly to exert pressure to get this thread closed. Obviously your legal experience is a sham, akin to watching car crash TV.

Your entire output has been shocking, accusing MSE members of libel for which I'm still waiting for an apology.

The money credited as a result of spending with the risky prepayment card (at just selected retailers) isn't a discount as in the normal definition of "discount".

Isn't it a payment into the account?

ponder2.gif So, you previously stated it was a discount but as that now doesn't tie into your current 'your gas and electric aren't free if you get a bill for nil pounds and nil pence'theory it's now not even a discount, it's a 'payment into the account'? Riiiiigggghhhhtttt.....:D

  • Alterer motive? Wouldn't that be a question you would ask of a dressmaker acting suspiciously?

No one is trying to get your precious thread deleted, but it desperately needs pruning now.

I have told you you could change your settings to halve the number of pages you apparently find it hard to cope with, but you have chosen to ignore that, and kept on with your new "thrust".

    Hidden agenda or what?

2 pages and 40 posts since post #8141 and not a peep from the PUWF on the merits of such a plan.

Diversion mode has gone into overdrive - though a spelling mistake merits some puerile posts.

I do sometimes wonder if there are 2 posters posting under your username or you have a very poor memory. I distinctly remember you making fun of a first time poster's spelling in this thread (a poster who clearly suffered from dyslexia). But that's your forte, isn't it - bullying newbie posters. You tried it with me and got back more than you bargained for, lol. Oooohhhh....what a hard man you are.

This is how uw introduces the training video on how to make use of your friends:

    More false statements eh?

That quote is not from UW but an independent site, as you are well aware.

The only time that video is used in any official UW capacity, as far as I am aware, is during the 'getting started' training sessions. I've already explained this once or twice before but you seem to develop selective amnesia in regards to anything that doesn't mesh well with your hatred of all things UW.

The getting started training is an all day course, one small part of which includes the video you so detest. The distributors attending the training are taught how to present the services and benefits available to UW members, during a short break they are encouraged to call a friend/family member to arrange an appointment. The video merely demonstrates how the conversation might go.

New distributors are encouraged to arrange several practice appointments as it is unlikely that a new distributor without sales experience (or some other 'customer facing' role) will be comfortable dealing with strangers straight away.

I don't recall any mention of a 'problem' at work, we merely ask for a genuine favour to enable us to practice. I don't know where you got that from.

Before I became a member and then a distributor, I was one of the practice appointments for the distributor who recruited me. Considering the amount I am saving currently compared to my previous circumstances, I have no complaints with this procedure.

I did make a comment on your post number 8141. Not sure what answer you are looking for though?

My point – get your gas and electricity elsewhere, rather than paying UW’s stupidly high prices.

And where should we get this G & E from? Comparison sites are great for people who have the time and inclination to keep abreast of tarrif changes & cashback deals etc and switch on a regular basis (a while back I spent a few months checking periodically for the 'best deal' - there were at least 6 diferent best deals over that period, probably more).

For people who are not inclined to switch regularly but are willing and able to take advantage of UW club benefits, UW energy is no worse (and potentially better) than the rest.

Also, what about people who are in contract for phone/internet (or do not wish/are unable to switch for some other reason) but tend to shop in sainsburys, argos, boots etc? Had I been in this situation when I signed up, it's quite clear to me that with UW energy for my usage being £118 more expensive than the cheapest (according to energy helpline at the time) and with my cashback so far exceeding £200 (after only 8 months), going with UW seems the obvious best choice doesn't it?

As it was, with the above in mind and the option of taking 4 services to get 24/7 inclusive calls, seemed like a great package to me and still does.

    What is false?

The video is introduced with these very words:
Here's another video that demonstrates Group Director, Shannon Griffin booking a 'practice appointment', no doubt with a view to signing up a multi-service customer for at least four services, because that's what the top distributors do.

    http://www.networkerplus.co.uk/videos/practice-appointment-shannon-griffin.html

In it the uw drector calls up her friend, explains she has been on a training course for a new job and needs a little bit of help "practicing"

You seem to be wanting to distance yourself from it now.

    Why could that be?
