The intent was to repeat the very remarks that you allege were libellous – to call your bluff. It also gives me another opportunity to point out the shortcomings of the survey.

If your post about being in contact with WHICH is true and they do peruse this thread, I suggest that they might be far more concerned about the widespread malpractice of UW IDs falsely claiming that Which have awarded UW a Best Buy recommendation.

Try the September Which? Granted it wasn't for energy but Broadband but still....

Their business is not based on what UW IDs claim about Best Buys, it's based on their own integrity and impartiality. Therefore I think you are completely mistaken about their prime concerns. The fact they rang me back demonstrates how seriously they take it.

    They rang you back.:rotfl:

Of course discussing the legal ramifications of libellous posts which you refuse to quote with a 'pub' lawyer must be top of their priorities. May I suggest that if Which? found some posts contentious they would first contact the site administrators of this site, not some random legal expert called uptomyeyeballs that has studiously gleaned all his legal knowledge from LA Law, and possibly with a little Starsky & Hutch thrown in for good measure.

So I ask again where are the libellous post against Which magazine? If you accuse me again of the very serious offence of libel I will report you for abuse. You have no basis for these allegations, you have offered no evidence whatsoever. Your posts are a disgrace to MSE, you profess to offer advice while we all know there is an ulterior motive, possibly to get this thread deleted.

So before you reach for your John Grisham novel, or VHS tape of Starsky & Hutch to dish out your legal opinion, think very carefully what you accuse me of. Please look at the 'abuse' button before you post.....

Which? reports can be downloaded from the IDs extranet so presumably, it's perfectly OK and all above board.

I can't see HO queering their pitch by making these documents available wihtout the necessary say so.

Under which? rules they cannot be distributed by reps, but despite this uw reps have come here and offered to send out copies. Their posts were deleted.

The uw does "officially" instruct its reps to only print off a single copy with this notice on their reps site:

Please note that while we can add a copy of this article to our third party credibility folder, we must not print copies to give to prospective customers

  • Look on the bright side, UW reps. I wouldn't imagine any of the Big 6s salesforce having to even concern themselves with the ins and outs of what can be done with Which reports. :D

Britsih Gas rep to potential customer: 'If you observe the latest Which? customer satisfaction survey you will see we beat npower hands down'

Where's the link to your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card?

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

Morning Q. Has your memory improved with a good night's sleep? Any chance then of telling me the username you use to access the NWP site you have no right to access?

If you would be so kind.

    Thanks

As you have a new hobby (keeping a tally of the mentions on here that uw energy tariffs are expensive), here's one for you to book down in your threepenny jotter:

The latest Which? mag has this comment:
    Which? wrote:
for gas and electricity uw customers pay around 20% more than with the cheapest supplier on the market
