As you have a new hobby (keeping a tally of the mentions on here that uw energy tariffs are expensive), here's one for you to book down in your threepenny jotter:
The latest Which? mag has this comment:
Keep ignoring me but I'm possibly more persistent than Nigewick (then again maybe not :rotfl:) so I will keep asking you even if it bores you and everyone else to death.
So, have you managed to find the username you use to access the NWP site which you have no right to access. After all, the site owner might like to send you a bill.0 -

Just a quick question for you Q. Do you happen to know by any chance which is the cheapest supplier?
Anyway back to it. Could you tell me the username you use to gain access to the NWP site which just to remind you that you have no right to access.0 -
Hi Q
Keep ignoring me but I'm possibly more persistent than Nigewick (then again maybe not :rotfl:) so I will keep asking you even if it bores you and everyone else to death.
2 can play at that game:
New readers.
UW have just about the highest Gas and Electricity prices in UK, just try any of the Comparison websites recommended by Martin to confirm the facts.
If you wish use the 'Which' comparison network and that will show exactly the same that UW have just about the highest gas and electricity prices in UK.
Which have stated the their gas and electricity is 20% more expensive than the cheapest.0 -
Morning Q. Has your memory improved with a good night's sleep? Any chance then of telling me the username you use to access the NWP site you have no right to access?
If you would be so kind.
Thanks

Hi Cardew.
Can you tell me which is cheapest available tariff. Off the top of your head.
Incidentally, could you tell me how many people are actually on the cheapest tariff.
Thanks0 -
Did your finger run away with you Cardew.:rotfl:

Excellent Cardew. I like a bit of competition at times. I must warn you though I can be a vicious player. As a sportsman I'm very competitive.0 -

They might stay longer if the AUWF would actually accept what we IDs keep telling them, namely UW is not for everyone but can be useful for many.
People have to be allowed to make their own choices without undue influence from IDs or those opposed to the UW. It seems though that at least 2 members of this AUW faction don't want people visiting this site to do that.
Unfortunately, for some inexplicable reason their hatred for what UW stands for seems to overshadow any common sense or reasonable discussion.
What's the consequence: a continual unnecessary argument.

Divide this over the time this thread has been running and you get round about 10 views per regular poster per day. I would think that's about right. I would therefore think that virtually the only people viewing this thread are the ones arguing on it.
I agree. Someone suggested the thread be closed down. I agree but not for the reasons Cardew, Quentin, Jimexbox and any of their other friends think.
So, I suppose if they wish to continue their fruitless 'discussion' for want of a better word then it is only inevitable that the other side's point of view is put forward.
Hopefully, if certain organisations 'wake' up to the fact that their reputations are being attacked they might just take it up with the MSE owners.
On the other hand your own intervention might just 'knock a bit of common sense' into all who post here. For me though, I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen.0
