If somebody signs up with any representative of an energy company, don't they then get paid also? Whether that payment is made over by salary, bonuses or is target driven, it's still payment for signing a new customer.

I believe that at the moment, comparison sites are undergoing some sort of investigative process to establish whether they are acting in the best interests of the consumer or profiteering from the highest commissions offered by the companies quoted on the sites.

I think there were posts about being able to sign up through (?)EnergyLinx and get cashback

You can get £34 cashback from energylinx for a dual fuel switch. (£20 from ukpower)

When you do your comparison, it's easier to look up from the bottom of the list to find the uw!

Cardew, have you also sent this to Which? magazines' legal department? I feel it would be a bit hit and miss to just post on this thread, in the hope that some employee of Which? might happen to be reading it.

If you feel you have a case, I would be surprised if you haven't put it formally and in writing.

You are obviously have less knowledge in that field than you have about the UW products you peddle.

You really are totally out of your depth Keggs and just make yourself a laughing stock!

Incidentally Cardew, the fact that you replied to my short quip demonstrates that you are starting to feel the pressure. Do you really believe a Which representative is likely to post a reply. I'd do as Maz suggests if I was you.
