You know that gullibles is an affectionate term for the poor people who fall for the uw rep's lines!
No, as far as I am concerned, it is abuse.

Why put a memeber on ignore? One that is abusive, certainly. I simply won the argument and he couldn't handle the humiliation. So on the 'ignore' list I went, sad

What argument? Everybody can read back and see why Carmine put you on ignore, he has given his reasons and I think they make sense to anybody reading this. Can you remember your odd posts or not? Do you have a selective memory?

Do you really believe the sentence above?
Of course. Otherwise I would not have written it. Is that you admitting to writing stuff you do not believe?

I've just had a PM from a member who wanted to ask about the monthly billing system that UW operate. Apparently they didn't feel comfortable posting on this board, which I find a little sad. I'm glad they felt they could ask me how I find paying for my monthly useage and I'm sure if more people were aware that UW gave this option, it would make UW a good choice for them.

If people are struggling to pay and have to go on a pre payment meter, do they still get the same tariffs, or is it more expensive?

Amazing, UW reps call it a loyalty bonus. One which shafts existing loyal customers, nice. Where is reality its a 'lock-in' bonus.

Nige, for once call a spade a spade.
How are existing customers who are already paying less for their utilities being "shafted"? The loyalty bonus is just that, for customers who join under this scheme and remain loyal. There is no exit fee as you are trying to imply. So to use your term of calling a spade a spade, a loyalty bonus is a loyalty bonus.

No. It was just your argument why the quality of these type of surveys was acceptable that I found very weak. I honestly thought you were grasping at straws, or you were at least writing tongue in cheek. I was hoping it was the latter, but you're clearly standing by your ludicrous argument that Which? 'surveys' are accurate.

Firstly a loyalty bonus in the 'real world' is given to people who have shown loyalty, not new members. So for example a member of our armed forces who spends enough time in their profession will receive a loyalty bonus after so many years. But in the warped world of UW, new members get the lock-in bonus, while loyal UW customers are well and truly shafted, nice.

Trust UW to twist the meaning of a word to suit their own ends....
