you're clearly standing by your ludicrous argument that Which? 'surveys' are accurate.
How can you say my argument is ludicrous when you have provided no shred of evidence to back up your belief? I could just as easily claim that Quentin, Cardew, Mech, Swanjon, yourself and other utilities companies put in false entries to make Utility Warehouse look worse than they should.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

Firstly a loyalty bonus in the 'real world' is given to people who have shown loyalty, not new members.
Those new Utility Warehouse club members have to remain loyal for a length of time to get the loyalty bonus. It is not given to "new recruits" immediately. It appears you are not thnking this through before you write.

Do you actually read what write? I've never said the Which? 'survey' has been abused. I've said that due to the methodology used by Which, their 'survey' is open to abuse by respondents. Do you agree with this?

I'm thinking quite clearly thanks. A new UW customer is eligible for the discount, subject to various hoops they must jump through. While a customer of long standing, maybe several years will get nothing, a big fat zero. If you happy with that, fine.

I don't really see what the argument is here. It's no different to the techniques many other companies use. The beauty (if that's what we can call it - can't think of a better word right now) of UW is that they continue to offer good value for existing customers (of the right 'fit') but unlike many competitors, they also have a track record of innovating, introducing new products and services to The Club, and generally enabling Club Members to reduce/manage their monthly spend in new and varied ways - that builds loyalty too.

What about 'lock-in bonus', or 'tie-in bonus', or even '12 month leave penalty'. I've given you 3 that are far more accurate. What is particularly sad about this whole episode is the carmine 'the people's champion' who rails against the big 6 for imposing penalty is so quiet about the UW one. Are we to believe that carmine is now in favour of lock-penalty's? I for one would like to know his position, however uncomfortable it is to sit on.

So you dont think its unfair that a customer that has been with UW for say, five or six years doesnt get a "loyalty discount" but a new customer that only has to be with them for twelve months gets it?

Loyalty discounts should be discounts for the loyal, not incentives to get new customers to sign up.

Can tell UW is learning from Npower as far as this discount is concerned.

HaHa! I think you was also present that fateful day, janninew, the one where he was suggesting I'd said something that he had actually said himself? His extremely odd behaviour genuinely worried me that day and I put him on ignore so as not to be implicated if anything horrible happened. The God's honest truth. And he will remain on ignore even though he's plainly missing me, lol.

    Is that a promise?;)

AT LAST! I've been waiting for this moment to put YOU on ignore! Done! Been a looonnnggg wait. Your posts and personality I find so depressing and some of your aggressive point scoring deeply unpleasant. The World is depressing enough without reading your relentness and humourless dirges. I thank you and I promise you that you will never darken my virtual door again. Have fun!

Oh God, my virtual globe-trotting stalker's back. And to think he accuses ME of having a 'Cardew File'. :p If you genuinely want me to put you on ignore, happy to oblige. My only worry would be how you would fill your days.I see it as a free care in the virtual community service I'm providing...
