Utility Warehouse (Telecom Plus) Discussion

This is why I doubt you. Had you posted them, as Carmine and I have, I would have no problem. But, your constant avoidance makes me think that your numbers do not stack up as you maintain. Projected numbers for a "standard," "average" or other euphemism user may be a reasonable starting point for a money saver, however using actual numbers will give the accuracy required to determine that best deal for an individual. Then one must take into account that particular money saver's needs and wants, as well as what they are prepared to do in order to find the supplier or suppliers (s)he is happiest with.So you can now appreciate why I've not bothered posting my own kWh figures.
I am an Independent Distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Is it not true that other companies tie a customer in without a £100 discount? Is that not a one off discount only for new customers and you are then tied to UW for 12 months? The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

And some of us just defend Utility Warehouse against people like you who appear to try and say that the company has no redeeming features whatsoever.TMSE is seen by some UW salesmen as fertile ground to enhance the image of their companyThe mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

I agree with you on this as the only way to check for one's best deal is to use the sites as a guide, using actual usage figures, then look at "bundles" and other options. Most people can't be bothered and that's where I come in by letting them know that there is a possibility that if they are prepared to accept certain restrictions, they can save money by becoming a Utility Warehouse customer.1. I am no fan of comparison websites. However short of manually checking all the 70 or so tariffs, they are the only way of checking tariff prices, and if you enter kWh you do get accurate results. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Aah, Mr Crabtree I presume. I used to like Les Kellett for comedy purposes.1carminestocky wrote: »My dad sorted him out good and proper and he was called Shirley.

Nige would you accept that I could give you 50 different kWh permutations that would match my predicted £1345 spend?0 -
You're left with landline, broadband (or combination of the two called Broadcall), mobile phone or perhaps Freephone number (I haven't checked to see if this latter qualifies). You're still going to have to pay the monthly membership fee too. How long is a piece string? You would have to look at what usage you are having for a service in order to work out your own individual best deal from that lot.OldGreyFox wrote: »What is the cheapest monthly qualifying service (not energy) you can take to get the cash card. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Of course but just your actual usage, current provider and tariff will suffice.Nige would you accept that I could give you 50 different kWh permutations that would match my predicted £1345 spend? The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

If you don't believe that my predicted spend is £1345, hardly excessive would you say? Then why would you accept a kWh figure as genuine? You have already indicated you think I'm lying, so it serves no purpose give you figures which you will clearly not believe. Which could be genuine or could be manufactured (like carmines requirements;)). Unless you trust the person anyway, any posted figure will treated as bogus.
Do you believe that a person on exact Ofgem standard user figures will pay 23% more with UW?0
