You can see how the uw is portrayed via its rally video (where big al teaches the reps how to manipulate the minds of "prospects"), its training videos, its detail free presentation when it gets into peoples homes, and its advice on how to use your friends under false pretences.

I believe I have covered all of those points in previous posts. This aimless circular argument is starting to get boring. You don't like UW training videos, I think you're taking things out of context in some cases, and too literally in others (mind manipulation! lol)

Though read your colleague NigeWick's attitude over the issue of using your friendships to see how other uw reps have a different view than the one you take.

Firstly, although I have nothing against NigeWick, you are well aware that it is not accurate to describe us as colleagues - we are both self employed independent distributors with no other link between us than we are subcontracted by the same company.

Although to be fair I don't see much wrong with his view on the practice sessions. Unless I've missed something he said somewhere.

You must be manipulating my mind if you know what my attitude is.

From your posts, I presume that you believe showing people how to save money by using Telecom Plus services is cynical and bad?

Just in case this message starts a new page would you like use your research skills to help Carmine find a better deal than he can get with Utility Warehouse?:-

    Yorkshire Region.

    Gas 15000 kwhs

    Leccy 4800 kwhs

Up to 24mb BB (my exchange is fully capable of exploiting this, btw)

    40gb monthly download allowance

Free modem (yes, they CAN have it back should I ever leave! ;))

    Phone Line Rental

    24/7 calls to 01,02,03 AND 08545/0870 numbers

10 international destinations included in the inclusive calling package.

    Silver club membership

£10,000 accidental death insurance (I don't know any Russian KGB people and don't enjoy sushi so that's one worry out of the way)

    FREE calls to CS/BB support

No minimum term contract on any service (subject to £50 exit fee if leave the phone/BB package within 12 months. Your beloved BT would charge how much if you left after 12 months? Almost £200 smackeroos! Nothing with UW).

Chance to refer like-minded friends (hell, even sworn enemies AFAICT :p) to receive %tage discounts off our bill (on-going as well!). Maximum of £250 in any month and no reduction on club fees, phone line installations etc.

Free membership of Prospero Magazine and their exclusive discount offers (who knows? I'll have a butchers for nowt).

Cashback card that can mean sizeable discounts off the bill by shopping at designated High Street outlets, the 'biggie' obviously being Sainsburys for groceries, electrical items, heck even mobile top-ups and gift vouchers for other retailers if what has been posted on here continues ).

12x paper monthly bills fully itemised detailing all the services I take.

One monthly DD for the lot.

    Anything missed/unintentionally embellished etc?

    Total annual bill: £1387.00

    Monthly DD: £115.58

THESE FIGURES INCLUDE NO DISCOUNT FOR USING THE CASHBACK CARD. THANK YOU.

If you mean the one below with Utility Warehouse, he's seriously thinking about it.

I'm thinking about buying a Ferrari, going on a round the world trip and buying my own Island and becoming King of the Plush Isles

I'll believe it when it happens though..

A circular argument without a central axiom is like a house without a foundation. Sooner or later it comes crashing to the floor. You can try rebuilding it again and again but the same will just keep happening.

    Best I can do is:-

EON fix online or EDF online: £1003 (Energy Helpline Yorkshire Region)

Sky Max Broadband, up to 16Mb (ATM), unlimited £120
Sky TV Entertainment Mix ( Conditional for the broadband ) £ 198
Sky Talk Free (BB is £5 p m more if you don't take Sky Talk )
Sky Phone line rental £120 ( I'd pay the extra and stick with BT though)

    Total: £1441 per year.

The speed you will get on broadband is dependent on your line conditions and distance from the exchange.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

    You first, jimexbox: :p

What's your current phone line/BB/calls package and how much do you pay?

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=20478713&postcount=2272

BB and line rental is £24.75 per month. I make very few calls on land line, I use my mobile, I have a very good simplicity deal with o2.

So for my needs which includes uncapped broadband. My current yearly cost is £1665. With UW it would be £1853.88, with their gas/electric and uncapped BB and line rental. I have no need for any call packages, and if I die my work pays out £210,000.

So for me UW are more expensive.
