I was standing in a queue in a shop the other week, and say a penny on the ground that I really wanted, however I ended up leaving it as stupid pride got in the way:cool:

Pride? You have pride? Crikey. In THOSE pyjamas :rotfl:.
I wanna be mortgage free in 2016 like everyone else;)
Best start picking up the pennies then :D.

That's not losing the plot. Losing the plot is dreaming you're walking down the street with OH, seeing 10p on the pavement and flinging yourself on top of it so he can't get it first. Then waking up with a racing heart :rotfl:.

Oh dear. Poor Mr pixnmix. He really shouldn't have said that, should he :D.

I'm close to dreaming like that Gallygirl, truth! And nope, he'll regret saying that. Makes me more stubborn when I'm told I can't do something. Next pressie I give him is a pack of plastic money bags and a piggybank ;)

You're absolutely correct (as usual of course GG;)). Including the found penny yesterday, I only have to find another 10895468 and I'm home and dry:T
    February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
    MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

I've decided that my smartphone isn't! Tried to type into my diary here using it this morning, to save getting out of bed to find the lappy. and after half an hour of making typo's, it bleeping and moaning that it didn't like what i'd tried to press and then running out of battery I gave up, got up and did the housework to use up all my rage energy!

Now calm and decided to look at my ebay sales. Made £7 on 3 little vases so that's a few more ££'s in the overpayment pot. Plus, one item I put on for a 7 day sale has 2 bids on already :)

On now with domestics. OH has gone home cos of the weather instead of stopping over and DD has popped in for home made soup, and now gone back home. So...no nice distractions and no excuses. Housework !

Nothing much to scribble about at the mo. Waiting for new mortgage to be set up. There's gonna be a delay though cos this silly moo thought the new mortgage solicitors letter was junk mail and left it unopened in the return to sender pile ready to pop back in the post box. Opened it yesterday evening and nearly died of embarrassment!
After work today the forms will be completed and off to go. Cant believe im so stupid. If it wasnt for an email from mortgage broker asking if I had returned the forms I might have binned or returned em blank!
Ok, that's all i'm confessing to today. Oh and that i'm a lot o/d in bank apparantly so need to watch the pennies for the next few months. Not unmanageable but may need to delay o/p ing for a bit. :(
Right, off to get ready for work ....
  • Oh dear. I really need an alarm clock on this diary to remind me to update. Having said that, nought much to update except...

I GOT PAID TODAY...... WOOHOOOO !!!
    AND
REMORTGAGE GOT APPROVED TODAY, WOOHOOOO 2 !!!

Spoke to my mortgage broker today and he said I need to return the solicitors info needed but that's a formality. I've missed February changeover but no matter. I have to wait till March but then i aim for 5th gear in sorting the OP kick start :)

The balance transfer 0% on new CC is now all done and payments will start from mid Feb. Aim to pay off £40 then and set up DD to do that every month until the loan is cleared. After that will cancel the card :)

Can I just say to my diary pals on here...please stay safe and warm this weekend. It's chucking snow down here again. xx
