Oh really tell that to the HR senior that signed the paperwork off herself.

If I were in your shoes and honestly had so much evidence supporting my case, I wouldn't be insecure as to create this thread asking for opinions. I'd file a grievance and be done with it. Since you decided to create this thread I take it there's something questionable about your evidence?

You are beginning to sound unhinged as well as overly involved. This is not a case where Yvonne is making any complaint that the company has mistreated her. Nor is it unreasonable for her to ask a question
    • to establish how serious the matter is
    • to get suggestions on how to deal with it
    • to discuss the potential consequences

It's immature to ask for outsiders opinions when they only have one side of the story, and the OP is obviously slating his/her manager.

If you have read it you would have know it's not his/her manager but a manager of another department.

Can't believe people are trying to put the op off from doing anything about it, no wonder so many get away with murder in the work place.

Well done to the op for standing up to a bully! I'm sure if they did try to make things difficult the op has the balls to fight it to the end and will at least keep her morals.

I got a job in uni admin and wondered why one of the heads of a nearby department weren't very good to us.. refused me permission to login to their particular computer system and so on. Then was told that she'd asked for her relative to get the job. My boss had duly interviewed her and then employed me.. LOL.

    Quick feedback:

I reported my findings on Monday to the HR senior, she confirmed she had already started looking into the matter from the email I had forwarded to her along with other information from other sources so I was to leave it with her.

I heard today from gossip that the manager in question has gone on the sick and two people from HR are on holiday.
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun

'I heard today from gossip that the manager in question has gone on the sick and two people from HR are on holiday.' More likely suspended pending investigation :D

Well done, I think they behaved appallingly and I'm glad your employer is taking this seriously. I know people have suggested the manager must have 'connections' higher up, but to be honest even if my bestest mate ever worked for me I wouldn't expect them to be using nepotism to cause actual damage to my business.
