    Madmum Welcome :)

DP took the boys out with the dogs tonight, saved me doing it, plus also got some much need cleaning done (studied this afternoon instead of cleaning) Have a support group committee meeting at 7pm so I best go and get ready for that! (Plus side being no council offices were available so meeting is in a pub :D not that I drink just less formal)

Hope you all have a nice evening
One day I might be more organised...........

    welcome to madmum33.

Great day at college - got a half day and spent the afternoon at a garden center with one of the girls that I'd not really got to know yet. She's really lovely and not the confident person I thought she was.
Moggins - really pleased to see that fund going up. Don't be in a hurry to spend it - you may need some funds to help you set up in business.... That said a nice pamper day would be good for you :D

Hmmm, had come onto the pc to do my homework.... half hour later and I'm still on MSE. Bad kaz ;)
    hugs,
    Kaz
Yakky da shez - didn't watch the programme, but did see the start when he looked rather disgusted at having to drink OJ at the pub, lol.

No OS advice, just wanted to say I had a great weekend. Parents came to visit, and OH cooked a great steak dianne,Saturday we spent a day at Chatham Maritime museum. tickets are £12.50, but last a year, highly recommended, and had a meal on them in the evening. Sunday was spent clearing the garden of loads of crap, which took a couple of hours, but was very satisfying. I then roasted a (yellow label) leg of lamb.
Wasn't a super expensive weekend, but meant I went back to work feeling good.
No advice, nothing like that. Just wanted to share it with others.

  • Evening Guys!

Not had a good day today-really overdid it yesterday:o ....have taken max dosage of pain killers im allowed:eek:    ...but tomorrows another day:D

Dysons customer service is brilliant. Last week I called them to ask to buy another hose for the hoover as the other had split and wasnt sucking up 100%...Ive had it for 4 years and the cover only ran out last year..typical! Anyway lady from Dyson was ever so pleasant and sent me a new one free of charge which I received this morning;) ...happy bunny!

Cleaning company havent got back to me today which Im disapointed at-tried to call them, but only out of office reply:confused: ....maybe he genuinely isnt there but OH has stated that if he doesnt get back in contact by Wednesday then he will make a nice polite call to him:rolleyes: ....so macho:rotfl:

FIL ventured to Lidls today ( not us) and bought us 6 x 4 tins of Heinz baked beans (£1 for 4) and 3 boxes of 4oz x 8 100% burgers (£1.39)....he didnt want the money either:D ....and I havent broken any rules with the no supermarket challenge as we didnt step foot in one:p  :D;)

OH is going to ask the milkman for another 2 pints of sterilised milk in the morning. I love this stuff and has high proteins in it which I need in my diet-at 52p a pint, I dont think its too bad.

Have a few jobs to get done tomorrow including reading for my next essay due by next week:eek: ...making some calls, banking, ironing at least 6 items, ringing more cleaning companies:cool: and some other stuff that I cant remember..lol.

DD went back to school today and looks alot brighter. She had some HW to catch up on, but will do this over the next 2 days so she doesnt knacker herself out too much.

Anyway, I have to go and have a cuppa:D Had a burger for dinner as wasnt too hungry. Also, we had a friend over last night and he bought me a huge bottle of Baileys and box of choccies;) ....loverly!

    Hugs to all.

    PP

    Evening everyone :hello:

Happy birthday to smokeybabe and Mr Pink

((((hugs)))) to scuzz and Paulie's girl

DH is in Spain with work, so I'm home alone. I bought myself a ready meal :o for supper tonight. It was a yellow sticker item and my alternative was going to be the chippy, so I've actually SAVED money. Honest.

I had a lovely day yesterday at a point to point, with my parents. It's sort of amateur horse racing, if you've never been. There was a stand there of rare breed meat from a local farm. I got myself some Lincoln Red steak mince, which will do for a chilli later in the week. My dad (who won a little bit of money) bought me a Jacob lamb meatloaf - not that expensive, but the horses seemed to all have 3 legs if I backed them. It's sitting in my fridge and I'm going to divide it into meatballs and freeze it like that.

I had the fright of my life (nearly ) this morning. I went to a school and at break time I heard my mother in law's voice! She was also doing supply teaching in the next door classroom to me. It was a shock and although she's lovely(ish :)), she was forever chatting to me when I was trying to sort out the class for the next part of the day. I stayed with the same class all day, but she was asked to move to a Year 5 class in the afternoon and she nearly refused. This put me into a bad light with the school and I'm slightly more desperate for work than she is! Luckily, the class teacher and TA seemed to think that I'd done a wonderful job, so at least they may put in a good word for me.

Unfortunately, I'm getting a bit hungry, so I'd better put the ready meal in the microwave. :o
