Hehe DH has had to walk up to Scout band with DS just to pay his camp money. While he is there he will have to explain why DS is not at band tonight. That will teach him to get the car MOT'd in time

While I am here I have to brag a little (as it's so rare I get a chance to praise my DS) not only was his last report a huge improvement on the one before, he has been moved up into the top set for Science and is just a blink away from top set for Maths
I'm so proud of him. He even made sure his room was spotless for the surveyor today
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Hey Vicki it doesn't matter how small you type it we still see it!!!!
Ready meal indeed.... lots more nutrition in a big box of choccies and a bottle of wine surely???
Moggins - that's great news (re DS not the car). Quite an impressive lad you have there tell him Aunty Kaz is sending him a cwtch..... I'm sure that like all teenage boys he'll appreciate it.... NOT!!, lol.January '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far

Someone burst my bubble and I lost the plot so no idea what I spent now...Other Jan :- Petrol £20.41, Clothes £8.50, House £3.
I will try to work it out.

Hi everyone, just a quickie as it's bathtime for the kids.
Youngest DD walked up to school and then home again as we had tears in the playground. She's just started with a cold/cough and she doesn't normally fuss so I decided to let her stay home today, although I did drag her around Aldi first!
I sold 10 things on Ebay yesterday and I reckon I've made around £300 since joining 5 weeks ago. It is addictive though and a few of my friends have also taken the plunge and started selling stuff too.
Have a good evening everyone.0 -
Hi Folks
Sorry, haven't had a chance to look at anything today and I now have to be careful at work.
Just wanted to say hello and pass on best wishes, congrats, hugs to any of you who need it.
Have just posted on the quick answer forum - hope some of you can help me out!
SIL off work today, he has been feeling sick but not actually has been. Hope that doesn't mean my turn tomorrow as I have thyroid blood test and blood pressure check!
Love to you all.

Good Evening All
Some thanks buttons have been working - others have'nt been! So apologies if Ive not thanked you!
Hairdresser just left, after re-scheduling from Fri till today! Had about 3" cut off my length. My birthday treat for me! Plus highlights also. My hair is so fine, its going to take a lot of blowing drying with a round brush to get the volume into it!
Busy day with moving the settee's, but between me & OH it took about 2hrs, that included a chat with his mum! At least we can sit in comfort now instead of being squashed up.
DD went to a friends birthday party earlier! Ive got nothing planned for mine tomorrow. Back to work, then a visit to the crem after. 5yrs have gone so quick since Grandad died, it seems like yesterday, and I still miss him heaps!
Anyway, off to run the bath now
Take care

Hi
Just had another dip in!
Crazychick - I don't use hairdrier. I use a styling product and then a hot air brush as hair fairlt short (at the moment Babylis) which gives me height and texture. I do it on almost dry hair and 8 times out of 10 I think I get better than the blow dry at hairdresser when getting trim or colour!
Hopes this helps.

Hi Everyone - better late than never!
(((Paulies Girl))) (((Scuzz))) and happy birthday to those celebrating.
Been at work today then had the mad dash to kids music lessons. One of my Ebay purchases arrived today, a pink violin for DD2. She is completely thrilled and it already sounds better than her old one. She even did an extra 10 minutes of practice showing DH how good it was (bless!) Her teacher reckons she needs a proper shoulder rest thing. We had been using a spare bit of foam & 2 elastic bands but it's no longer good enough. My Dad is coming down here later in the week, so he said he'd go to the big music shop in Manchester to get one for her, and she can have it as a birthday present - generous or what?
DH has been splashing the cash  on some night flying whilst it gets dark early. I hope that when I'm out tomorrow, he'll finally build the new bookcase and start getting some of the house sorted out. Dream on.... :rotfl:0
