    Morning Guys!

Quickie as Im off to work in a sec! (bit aprehensive as there are bound to be words with my so-called boss if he comes in) but onwards and upwards!
Ive got backing of big boss, who demanded to know why he had locked me out of the computer:rotfl: (so dont think he's popular now)

I AM DEFINATELY STARTING A DIET TODAY!!!! I have prepared a salad for lunch, plenty of fruit and raisins to munch on at work! Got to get of my fat butt at last! Wish me Luck!!

I tried to get on here yesterday but no luck with connection - but wanted to say to Kazonline - did you watch Songs of Praise last nite? I dont normally but Aled Jones was around the Vale of Clwyd (where some of my ancestors came from!!) so was very interested in seeing parts of the countryside!
and I did try to follow the welsh words in screen!:D :rotfl: - I dont know that Ive inherited a typical "Welsh singing voice though":rotfl:

jackieo - WOW you have gone back further than me - ive only managed to get as far back as 1800 - Im guessing after census returns its get difficult as you have to refer to local parish records?!

catznine - my DH would like the sound of that Guinness Cake!!!:D
Happy Birthday to smokeybabe and mr Pink!!

must dash! hope to pop back later, have a good day all! byee

    Haribo,

If only you knew my lot.......they can smell a ready made pancake from a mile off and turn up their noses. ;) Saying that, Queenies idea of cooking and freezing in advance might help for the next birthday in April.

Clairefun....I hope it all goes well for Friday
SSB.....It will be so worth it when the bathroom's done!
Moggins.......I'm nearly afraid to ask because it's probably obvious to everyone else, but what's an FU fund?
    Shez....Good luck at work today.

Ok, dishes to do, rooms to tidy and a cake to make. Catch you all later and thank for the lovely messages for Mr Pink...........I made his day [strike]not[/strike] by showing them to him before he left for work. You have no idea how much he hates being referred to as Mr Pink, but I think he was secretly chuffed. I love him really, perhaps now he's 43 I should give him a break. :D

Bragain Rzl well done with the bonus :D
Moggins I also have an FU Fund :D total, erm, 600 ish! (Started December)Not bad huh!

Right, morning all, short and sweet from me. Kids went back to school after half term and the house looks like a bombs hit it. I'm at dentist 12.30 and got meeting tonight at 7, so not much time to do everything in. Has about 3 hours sleep so feeling a bit like a zombie! Good news is it's sunny outside (saying that also a bit chilly when I was out with the dogs this morning) so have put the washing outside and opened the windows to give place a good airing.

Right time to get cracking! Hope you all have a good day, hugs to those who need them or just feel like one :)
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Moggins.......I'm nearly afraid to ask because it's probably obvious to everyone else, but what's and FU fund?
    Pink

The FU fund is exactly what you think it is. I think it's a great title and have renamed my "this is my money to fund running away in the event that I can't put up with my husband anymore fund" accordingly:D
    Much catchier don't you think?;)
  • Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee kids r back at school !!:D :D
Have never been so pleased although I have replaced them with two 2yr olds who are systematically undoing all the good work I did over the half term break-oh well at least I get paid to watch them wreck the joint !!
looks like MSE is def paying off for you bargain rzl although you must treat yourself too, see it as a just reward.
Good luck today clairefun I remember how stressful it is moving house, its even worse when you have kids and can't prepare them properly when you don't know what's happening yourself. We only moved further down the road we were already on so walked past it daily-kids found that very confusing !
    Good morning to everyone else
    looby
  • Pink - tell him it's out of Reservoir Dogs ;):D
moggins - yes, I'm wondering about the F U fund too!
catznine - mmmmm, Guinness cake sounds yum! You've just reminded me of a funny thing that happened on Friday - Mum and I were at this concert, and for part of the concert there was a female vocal soloist, who came on wearing a strapless black evening dress with a billowing white bit around the neckline, and Mum said "She looks like a pint of Guinness!" :rotfl:

    :D

LOL I can't type what the FU stands for as the swear filter won't let me :D Lets just say that the F stands for exactly what you think it does and the U is short for YOU!

Kaz insisted I start it when she found out that although DH will buy every gadget on the face of the planet he wouldn't let me have the money I needed to start my Life Coaching Diploma. So everytime I have a spare bit of cash I squirrel it away towards my course fees. The best bit is that I found an accredited course for £200 and when I told Mum what I was doing she insisted on paying my course fees for me :D So I can now do my course and I have £250 spare plus I already have most of the books I need.

Trouble is I now can't work out what I am going to do with my spare £250 as I am not used to spending any money on me! So any suggestions for having a treat myself day would be greatly appreciated :D
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    F U Fund currently at £250

 for the explanation. I have one of those funds set up, thankfully I don't feel like using it........ yet.;)

Moggins you're a sensible girl and fu fund sounds so much better than running away money.

:wall: Just typed out a lovely long reply, lots of individual mentions and now cyberspace has eaten my words!!! :rotfl:

Not even going to try and replicate it, soooooo

mogs - well done on your ££'s :D:D Go easy on those crud-balls ;)
Pink - I'm getting a feelingn of deja vu  Didn't we have this conversation about freezing pancakes last year? Always useful to have some in stock because they can make up a speedy savoury meal, economical too!
natzini - you could try phoning the surgery and double checking if hubby can't remember either ;)
Haribo - hope your day grows better for you! BTW, I worked out those Every Day Biscuits are 1.5 ww points ... have a nibble and console your bad start to the day :D
Shez - good luck with the healthy eating plan (and the boss!)

Can't remember what else - oh BR's mum's bra! Well done on encouraging her to get a proper fitting!

Right, the site messing about does nothing for my stress levels so I'll hit reply before the web makes a meal out of this one too
