I've had an email from beauty bible also. I've gone for the green as I'm not old enough for the anti ageing yet (which I would of like to have tried). Has anybody recieved their items yet? I only sent the payment and did the questionnaire today, not had a reply yet, is this normal??
Also jolie boxes were supposed to have been dispatched today, has anyone had an email to confirm???0 -
So disappointed with the Lux box - but it has brought me to my senses, and I'll not fall for their cheap tricks again!
No email yet from Joliebox, so presume nothing mailed out yet.
Like you Ronacon I've signed up for the Beautybible anti aging, I paid a week or so ago now, but no sign of any parcel... I can't wait0 -
I just got my Joliebox - I did cancel it weeks ago so not quite sure what happened there... Anyway, spoilers in white!
There didn't appear to be much in the box, it looked quite empty but the contents are actually quite interesting.
First thing was a 'balmi' lipbalm in coconut. There was a craze in the US for these ball shaped lipbalms in ball shaped packaging, this is the same thing I think but different brand name. You can attach it to your phone. Quite nice to use.
2 x twistbands in red and orange. They seem to be regular hair ties, I'll google later to find out if they have any other purpose.
A Redken protective straightening lotion for medium hair 30ml. I like the Redken brand so I'm happy to get to try a new product from them.
An 'I Love' face mask. Coconut again. Lucky I like coconut.
2 x small sachets of Dr Bragi Bio Marine Exfoliant. It's a cream you massage into dry skin, then wash off. Looks expensive, which sends it to the top of my 'must try' list.
So, I didn't want the box, but I like everything in it. Definitely checking that I'm cancelled from now on though.0 -
Joliebox here for me too - apparently they were despatched yesterday, so very impressed with the delivery speed there.Coconut Balmi lipbalm. This smells gorgeous and I love the dinky little ball shaped container. Haven't tried it yet, but have read good reviews.
Redken Align 12 straightening protective lotion. Will come in useful and a good brand.
Dr Bragi marine exfoliant (two little sachets like those from LiB)
Twistband hair ties x 2 in red and orange. I like these, but will be giving them away after a recent haircut.
I Love face mask in mango.
It's not an expensive box, but I'm happy with the contents and they'll all get used. I'll peruse the mag over a cup of coffee later on - it's getting much more substantial these days.
Oh, and it came in one of the coloured boxes from last month, which was nice.
Incidentally, I've been reading that as a result of the acquisition by Birchbox, the JB name will likely go and it'll be rebranded as BB.0 -
just ordered the LIB editors box:eek:so much for cutting back:rotfl:also added the percy and reed dry conditioner as liked the one in a previous box0
-
I've ordered the LIB box too - but its v good value with my favourite mascara included!
I also noticed it seems they have the Mascara samples back for £4 - I'd recomend it to everyone as fab!0 -
LIB looks tempting, good price too!
Finally got a courteous response from LuxBox regarding the errors on my account, so am happy. My account will be closed now hopefully, and I don't have anything else to pay. :TNew forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
Oh no not only am I addicted to this forum I seem to be addicted to beauty boxes!
Just looked at the LIB box and now have to have it! I'm dreading Xmas if they all bring out special boxes, may end up with quite a stash.0 -
Gutted I was too slow on the Editor's box, it looks awesome! It's probably a good thing though, as I totted up all my toiletries yesterday and have nearly 300. That's not even counting make-up and nail varnish
(but I still really wanted it because I have no self control)Everyday I am asked to be a magician, in a world where magic does not exist.0 -
despite my saying I didn't need any more skincare, I too went for the Editors box from LIB, also added some additional skincare from Weleda as free P&P seemed too good a deal to miss.
Really need to find a skincare addiction support group - :rotfl: and if you saw me today you would never say I had a stock at home or ever used it, as having got up late I had no time to brush my hair properly or put on make-up. Perhaps I should invest my money in a good quality wig and permanent make-up tattoos instead.Targets
