Nice to hear from you purplebutterfly, wishing you a full recovery
I was also unimpressed with my SSB box. I think it's my last one though, they don't renew 6 month subs do they? (Must check that!!)
I got an email from the Beauty Bible people too, I was annoyed to read that the earliest respondents to the trial would be the last to get their boxes. "The earliest testers to sign up have to wait the longest - and alas, that means you..." Saying that they will change the system in future doesn't do anything to make me feel better about it now! But they'll all be sent out by the end of the week apparently.0 -

I got that email too, Gentleorange, and at first I thought it meant we'd be the last to get our products, but I just think it means they're all being sent out together, so effectively we've had the longest wait, having signed up earliest - I hope any way!
So looking forward to it!
Oops, forgot to say, good to see you back purplebutterfly.0 -
See, I find that (about Beauty Bible) quite hard to understand. I registered with my old email some years ago and had not heard anything from them since.
I then changed my email a few years ago and only last month reregisterd with my new email (I didn't change my old one, I just registered all over again) and signed up for the trials.
I also was considered for the trials but just like all of you above, I was told my parcel was delayed (twice) and am now waiting like everyone else.
Nothing to worry about I suppose but just a bit odd seeing as the email they sent the invitation to only had been registered for a few weeks!
I just hope the box is a good one, really looking forward to it but slightly worried that others in the past had reported a load of Superdrug products and one expensive product which didn't work for them, I really hope that doesn't happen to anyone else!0 -
Nice to hear from you purplebutterfly, and glad you're feeling better now.
I really need to be good at the moment, so just looking forward to Amarya, and BB. I agree with judy, that they must all be getting sent out at the same time, so us early subscribers will have longer to wait. I sincerely hope its not full of Superdrug items. I wonder what trial that was before, as this will be my first?New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
To all the ladies doing the beauty bible testing. Should we be worried their doing a lib/beauty bible box?
Have a horrible feeling the contents in the lib box will be better than what we will get. And at a cheaper price!!! Am I being paranoid? I hope so. What are your thoughts?0 -

The green one was a bit of a mixed bag - I only actually liked three or four of the products, but one I absolutely loved and I've bought it ever since, and that was Rosa Fina moisturiser. Thankfully it was one of the more affordable ones! Imagine falling in love with a product that cost £100!0 -

That does make more sense! I would expect all parcels to be despatched at the same time anyway, the way they worded it confused me!
I got two copies of InStyle mag with the little Benefit freebies today - cha cha tint and sunbeam. It's cheaper in Tesco, £2.50 instead of £3.80 so I thought I could justify buying two:p
And I tried out the new No7 foundation service. They said I was Calico, the lightest shade and gave me a sample. I wasn't too impressed with that. I'm pale. I'm always the lightest shade! But I did my makeup today and I have to say that it's probably the most perfect match I've ever had. Not to say that everyone will have that experience, but I think I will definitely buy the full size (when I've used up my six existing foundations.)0 -
I initially interpreted the email from BB that way too, that I'd get my items after people who have only just signed up but on reflection decided it meant that I'd had to wait longer as they are all being sent out at the same time.
I'm hoping for some good products. The LIB/BB box looks good but expensive at £20 plus p&p, I'm assuming we'll get a better selection than that. I think those products are from the latest trial as they said one of the reasons for the delays were that they were working on the BB winners. I'm assuming we test to determine next season winners - am I wrong, not sure?
SSB don't renew 6 month subscriptions, you would have to resub, which from what I gather, none of us is going to do. I've really not been impressed with their boxes since the start to be honest.
Going to try the No7 foundation service as I quite like No7, love their Airbrush away primer. I've got a close family wedding coming up and would love my makeup to look the best it can and after all Grannys need all the help they can get in the makeup department.
Hello PB, glad to hear from you, hope you are feeling better soon. xTargets

I think the LIB/BB looks brill. Its worth £90, and for me is the best LIB collection I've seen. With 3 birthdays this month, visiting friends and relatives, plus Christmas looming I will have to unfortunately pass.
Feeling excited about the impending BB anti-ageing/green products test now I've seen this. :beer:New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
I was thoroughly underwhelmed by this months SSB- I have the 6 month offer expiring after next month and won't be renewing. It feels like the quality and quantity has gone down a lot since the start.
Also I quite like the boxes to store crafts things in - has anyone else noticed that the boxes they come in are now smaller than they were 3 months ago? Obviously to make the samples look like they fill the box more, didn't really work this month!0
