fortuna93  WELCOME!!!! It's really hard to say whether or not you've picked a "good" box because they all vary in quality from month to month and a lot of it is down to personal choice. The good thing is that you can always come here and moan about it if you hate your box when it arrives!

Rienchen - there are currently 2 different 20% off codes for REN (one for REN itself the other for Amarya) so make sure you use one if you buy the mask in the near future

:eek::eek: I'm sorry but...............!!!!!!??? This has totally passed me by.........wait a minute..............

............okay, Google has all the answers as usual. They went to Harrods and ate Lauduree macaroons and then, surprise surprise, they wrote glowing reviews about a box that seems to have had generally quite negative press on other blogs.

I know other boxes send out free ones to bloggers in exchange for positive reviews but GB really do seem to be the worst offenders for regularly sending out "good" boxes to "ambassadors" and "bad" ones to paying subscribers.

Whilst browsing though, I came across the The Larder Box. Okay, so it is a bit pricey and it is food not beauty but I can't help feeling a little bit tempted. Hand smoked sea salt and gourmet fudge are far more to my taste (no pun intended) than false eyelashes and fake tan.

Me too, I used mine yesterday for the second time. I really feel that my skin looked more radiant this week, it could have been the mask or it could have been the sunshine but i definitely liked what I saw and will be purchasing this mask as a full size product :)
I used the mask last night and was a bit wary in case it stung my skin but it was fine:)did not use a lot so probably have about 2/3rds of the sample tube left:),think I now have about 4 tubes of various sizes:rotfl:

Was this in yesterday's mail as I cannot find a link to it anywhere and I am seriously tempted by the offer. I can't find 10ml samples of anything on the Ren website.

I'm going to use the Glycolactic mask again today, seeming as its been recommended.

    Just used the (Spoiler)
Awapuhi sea spray. Yeah, beach curls! :j:D I really didn't want to like it so much as expensive, but will have to shop around for online, as I can see myself using the 25ml sample within a few days. It really does work, and has left my hair feeling nice, instead of gloopy like it does with Boots Curl cream.

I would have liked to try the Nuxe Oil, or the HD brows, but am happy with the box I got, as it would have had to be in Vamp (and it sounds like pot-luck what people received :rotfl:), and I wouldn't have liked the self-tanner, and shampoo.

Its funny the amount of people who've been displeased with their boxes just because they didn't receive the
    HD Brows.
I believe that GB redeemed themselves this month, and have given good value products out. My box was worth approx £50, so got my moneys worth.

Glad I wasn't on the receiving end of the poor service that has been mentioned here, as I would be fuming too.

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a lovely sunday.

Missli, I've just used mine on my hair and it feels wonderful and soft, after giving myself a split end trim. Like you I'll be trying to track this down on Ebay at hopefully a bargain price. I was pleased with my box too and agree it was money well spent. :j It's a shame about the hassle some have had, hope it will all be sorted out.
    I love this place :j:T:j
  • The HD Brows kit? I've had it before and got one this time. I don't think they know what boxes we've been sent, there are no markings on the box or packaging to indicate they are coded as far as I can tell, and if they had the technology to record what items we have been receiving they should be able to use our beauty profiles.

Sometimes I get the feeling GB actually resents their customers, except for the ambassadors they go for tea at Harrods with. It's like a big social networking opportunity for them, and us plebs are supposed to be neither seen nor heard!

    Yup that's the one..

I had a feeling it was probably just a way to try and get people off their back, one day they will get a shock when suddenly they do have a no subscribers and they are sat wondering why.

Ohh hadn't heard about that, but heard about the roses, the books etc etc...

    Speechless too...

I was going to get a HD brows kit on ebay as I didn't get one in my box, but decided to re-sub under a different account (with 15% off code), as they were selling for silly prices. Worth a shot anyway, as even if I don't get one I'm after more seasalt spray which is proving non-existent to buy in the uk online. Think perhaps select salons may stock?

I've had an email from Montague Jeunesse, as on their beauty panel. Anyone can join.

The details are on this thread. Basically the first 60 to apply get a beauty trial, and on receipt of a reply, a survey link is sent. Once the online survey is completed, you get a bundle of free goodies! :j:D

Not sure if everyone who replies gets the survey, and goodies, but fingers crossed.

My friend had another response from them today saying they were sorry she was unhappy with the customer service she had received but they are unable to cover the postage and return will be at her cost.

She has quoted the sales of goods act to them, which stipulates:

If the buyer requires the seller to repair or replace the goods, the seller must—
    (a)repair or, as the case may be, replace the goods within a reasonable time but without causing significant inconvenience to the buyer;
(b)bear any necessary costs incurred in doing so (including in particular the cost of any labour, materials or postage).

the 10ml sample is on their website now. How do you get it for £6.99 though? The mail20 code doesn't work, just taking 20% off not giving it for £6.99.
