    i got my glossy box's today i got the same as Missli and the natural one is different to everybody else's which is good as i got 2 last time and thay were both different so really pleased.

    I'm wearing 3 of the products, which is a first this soon. The lip frosting, eye-shadow, and the Awapuhi spray. I'll use the other products together, once I've finished what I'm currently using at night.

    For me this is what a beauty box is all about, useful, quality products I haven't tried before. I may keep my sub a bit longer. :p

    Bad Bad Customer Service

    A friend of mine got the hd brows kit in her glossy box and it was damaged. She emailed them politely to tell them and to ask them to send her a replacement. She got a response asking her to photograph the item and they would decide what to do about it?!?!

    She was also asked to provide her email address?!?! and tell them which shade she had received.

    She doesn't have access to a digital camera this week so was unable to send them photos so asked them instead to send her a prepaid label so she could return the whole box as the HD kit had spilt over all the items in the box. She also said she felt like they did not care, evidenced by the "and then we can decide what action to take" comment.

    She informed them that the email address she had used to notify them was her email address and told them which shade she had received.

    To her surprise she was informed that she shouldn't have received this box variant and that "if" she had received it they were sorry she had?!?! and could assure her this had never happened before?!?!

    They then went on to say they could not send her a prepaid label and she would have to return the whole box at her own cost to get a refund.

    She has now written back to them and told them the box is not fit for the purpose in which it was meant and as such under the sale of goods act she is entitled to a full refund at no cost to her. She has told them she is going to take the matter to trading standards and will not be buying any future boxes from them. They failed to respond to that email.

    I'm appalled, I know people have had problems with them in the past but this smacks of them calling her a liar and having no customer care what so ever. I so hope she does take it further if they don't remedy it for her. Also how do they know its never happened before as surely they would only know people had got the correct box if they had reason to write to them about the one they'd got. Very strange, plus if they know which variant people have been sent it definitely proves the theory that they cherry pick the best box to go to their blogger/ambassadors.

    Hmmm... I do not believe they are using our beauty profiles at all. I got the blonde kit and I have dark brown hair. I'm certain that (aside from ambassadors) the boxes are being sent out randomly, so I think they're trying it on.

    I do understand why they are asking for proof though. On twitter people who didn't get the HD Brows kit were being advised to email GB and say theirs broke so GB would send one out to them. I think so many people are after freebies they aren't entitled to, GB are getting wise to it. (Not suggesting that your friend is, it's the scroungers who are making them suspicious of everyone!)

    Best thing for your friend to do is borrow someone else camera - or just take a picture on her phone and ask for a number to text it to.

    Oh you have GOT to be joking? I can't physically fit any more REN products in my bathroom but now I want to try that serum! Aaaaaargh! :eek:

    I've just used my glycolactic mask for the second time and I'm more impressed now than I was last week. I'm really starting to like it a lot and the radiance perfection serum comes from the same group of products.

    As far as GB is concerned, their response doesn't surprise me. It disgusts me but it is no shock. They really do not seem to give two hoots about anyone apart from their pet bloggers.

    Hey guys I finally took the plunge and subbed to a beauty box after months of pondering. It took me an age to decide which one though but finally decided on SSB as I won a competition with them recently and was impressed with their customer service

    Have I picked a good choice?

    Me too, I used mine yesterday for the second time. I really feel that my skin looked more radiant this week, it could have been the mask or it could have been the sunshine but i definitely liked what I saw and will be purchasing this mask as a full size product :)

    The HD Brows kit? I've had it before and got one this time. I don't think they know what boxes we've been sent, there are no markings on the box or packaging to indicate they are coded as far as I can tell, and if they had the technology to record what items we have been receiving they should be able to use our beauty profiles.

    Sometimes I get the feeling GB actually resents their customers, except for the ambassadors they go for tea at Harrods with. It's like a big social networking opportunity for them, and us plebs are supposed to be neither seen nor heard!
