Hi, did you say the SSB box had

4711 in it? I didn't know they still made this, wasn't this around in the 70's and 80's. I remember it from when I was a child. When I was about 6 I had a bottle of it won from a raffle, which I was allowed to play with. It "accidentally" got lost when we moved as no one in the house could stand the smell of it.

The leaflet says it's been around for 'more than 200 years'. I'd never heard of it before! I put some on, thinking the smell might grow on me, but it really, really hasn't. It smells a bit like cleaning fluid on me! =/ It seems a bit out of place in this box, tbh.

(I really hope I'm doing this white-out thing right)

No email for me either, and posties not been yet. I'm trying hard to resist spoilers.

I've just run out of the gorgeous bath salts from the Betrousse box, so cheered myself up by taking advantage of Amaryas 20% off (last day!), and ordered some Ren Moroccan Rose bath oil.

I read the SSB spoiler! Not sure how happy I am not to look forward to it but still it was from the 60% offer so cant complain really! No dispatch email here either and wasnt with my postie today, so maybe tomorrow. I keep thinking I'll use the pretty boxes to store Chloe's craft bits in but I just havent been able to sacrifice them and so they are all stored in the wardrobe. Might turn them into nail polish boxes though at some point!

I got my SSB box today

I don't know if I can be bothered to wite anything - it is so dull. I received the same as ElegantlyWasted

papier poudre sheets that I already got from Lux (and are STILL too dark for me)

Balance Me lipbalm that I already have half a dozen of thanks to the Glamour promo

Whitening toothpaste whih slightly scares me after looknig at the creepy photo of the "dentist" on the box - plus I've jsut been sent the new Oral B whitening toothpaste to try from the Boots panel AND I love the Dawood & Tanner one from the Luxbox so I feel as though I'm drowning in toothpaste!

The most god-awful nail stickers - bright red with hearts on - the kind that you can buy from Home Bargains/B&M for 99p

Redken colour extend spray - I'll give it a go at some point, possibly

Eau de cologne - haven't opened it yet but I've never liked the smell of cologne and can't see it changing!


I suppose if it hadn't been for the Glamour promo I'd be really happy with lip balm; and if it hadn't been for the toothpaste overkill, I'd be excited to try this one - so maybe it's not entirely the fault of SSB that this is such an underwhelming box for me

Hopefully Lux will be out soon with something a litle more interesting

Got mine and agree with purplebutterflys post. All things I've had before. But I did get a mini bottle of Nails Inc instead of the foils. The 4711 reminds me of lemon flavoured vodka!
