can you order from amarya without being a subscriber to their box?

Yes. They're a store who also does a beauty box of products that they stock - rather than other boxes who are really just PR middle-men :D

Have to admit, I've never ordered from Amarya before because I've always found that Naturisimo is cheaper but codes make all the difference!

Well i just whizzed off a few reviews of bits I've used from the Amarya box, fingers crossed one of us MSE gals gets a free box!

I love Zoya - am slowly converting my nail polish stash over to it but they just are so expensive, Ebay has been my friend so far but if Amarya do a 20% off and you get points then I'd buy from them!

Oh and whilst I remember, has anyone got any good rec's for hair masks. I have long, thick, and super dry/coarse hair and usually stick with bumble and bumble but fancy looking into a change - preferably something not full of nasties!

I've been sent a £5 off voucher code for Illamasqua (for entering a GB comp on FB) and I think I'm going to place my first order with them. I'm pale with warm undertones and I mainly like neutral colours, so I've chosen 2 blushers and 2 lipsticks that I think I would use a lot. (Expensive brand so not the place to experiment with a dark blue lipstick!)

My LIB box just came - lovely big bottle of 'Love Your Skin' exfoliating wash, but I'm a bit underwhelmed by the rest of it. I knew I would be when I ordered it though to be fair!

And my GB Natural Box came, I wanted this for the flimsiest reason - the original one I had got put down on top of an eye makeup remover spill and it was left with a greasy stain. So I wanted a nice one to go with my other boxes:o But for the second time this week I received different products instead of dupes so I'm very pleased!

    info@luxbox.co.uk

The original deadline was 1pm on Tuesday () but they say that they're aware that some people didn't get the email :o

I have the exact same kind of hair. I can't help with natural recommendations, I'm a natural novice but I'll take note of anything anyone else recommends.

The one I really like is Lee Stafford 'Intensive care for flat iron addicts'. I don't even use straighteners much, but this leaves my hair feeling very soft and shiny and it smells amazing! The ingredient list doesn't look too healthy though:o

Oh, the discount code for £5 off at Illamasqua when you spend £30 is GLOSSYBOXJULY. It expires at the end of 29th July so there's not much time to use it!

I have the same kind of hair and I found this thread very useful:

    http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=128

I made a version of the deep conditioning treatment. I *think* that I combined 2 tablespoons of conditioner (I used a Naked conditioner that I was trying to use up), 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. (Brainfoggy today). It worked amazingly well!

It's worth reading the thread for more info before you do this. It sounds odd but it's important to microwave the honey (I did it for 10 seconds on a high setting, once mixed with the conditioner). This is because the honey might lighten your hair if you don't zap it first.

I used half the mixture (I have v long hair) and left it on for an hour. I tied a carrier bag over my hair as it's better if you keep it damp. (Not v glam but v practical!) It was the best deep conditioning treatment I've ever used! (I was surprised). The best thing was that it used up conditioner that really didn't work for me - no need to use your 'best' conditioner (the thread goes through what does & doesn't work. I had Naked conditioner because it doesn't contain nasties). You just wash it out after an hour - no need to re-shampoo or use another conditioner.

    I hope that helps :D

Willowbee - I've been using the honey lightening recipe from that forum to try to strip some henna out before I add it back in (years of henna have turned my naturally coppery-coloured locks into a deep rosewood shade)

I used honey, water and olive oil and it did make my hair nice and soft - but then, olive oil always does so not sure how much of it was down to the honey.

I really struggle to find good hair masks that aren't packed with silicone and I can't honestly advise on that one :( so if you find one, let me know.

lilly1972 - I'm currently looking on ebay for D&G The One because I've run out - although I'll probably end up spending more by buying from a proper shop. I've sold loads of perfumes on ebay but I'm stilll unsure about buying it from there. Wierd. Have you tried www.cheapsmells.com? They're usually quite good pricewise

I've just received my Glossybox. I'm really pleased with everything this time. In white:

Regenerating Collagen Gel - Skin serums are always good
Awapuhi wild ginger texturising spray - I like my hair 'messy'
Monu extra rich night cream - This looks like a great product
Jelly Pong lip frosting - I love this colour, really pretty. The texture is quite greasy, so not sure how long-lasting it'll be. I've just tested on my hands, and they feel slippery
Kryolan satin powder - I wanted an orangey shade, so happy

This is a really good box. Worth re-subbling to. :T
