Chloe may not be 3 yet but I'm sure she really wanted a REN account in her name for the future!.
I did nearly buy some Liz Earle Make up off QVC (watched a bit of it with mum) but was restrained but I do need some nail/cuticle stuff and was looking for recommendations. The OPI Nail Envy and oil thingy seems to be highly rated, but wondered if there was any more natural ones that were just as good?
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm sure she will thank you...........you might have to wait a while though :rotfl::rotfl:
I have to say, I've tried nail envy a few times over the years and never really seen results with it.
It might just be my nails but it doesn't seem to do anything for them at all.
Dr LeWinn's Renunail (the sensitive one) had quite a good effect on new nail growth but I'm impatient and want my existing nails to be stronger so I use Sally Hansen Diamond Strength. It's not natural but it hardens up the tips quite nicely.
This morning I had Nailtiques Formula 2 delivered, so I'll be trying that over the next few weeks. That's another one where you need to wait for new nail growth to see the effects though.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
Assuming you mean the Glycolactic Skin Renewal Mask, Amarya sells it for £28, and their July beauty box contained a 20% discount code for all brands in the box (Ren, Antipodes, Inika) - BBJY8A - so the full size works out to be £22.40

Oh gosh nooooooo! I just remembered I wanted to order another Inika eyeshadow as well as the one in my box although looks pretty doesnt show up at all when on! Eeek sorry mr bank manager! But you get points with Amarya or something dont you so ofc that means it's okay to buy things!purplebutterfly wrote: »I have to say, I've tried nail envy a few times over the years and never really seen results with it.

I dont have splitting, weak or peeling nails per say but they are dry and look well knackered tbh as I dont use washing up gloves. so it's not that I want them super hard/tough or anything, just healthy which is why I thought the nail envy might protect them etc. Might just buy some off Ebay and give it a go!
Off to look at Amarya now..................oops xxNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -
Got my Glossybox today. I decided to speed up its arrival by hopping into the shower, and surprise, surprise, it worked, two mins after getting in there was a knock at the door. Works every time!I'd seen alot of people were getting the HD Brows pallette - am I weird in that I was hoping I didn't get it? Anyway, I was more than pleased with what I did get.
Collin Collagen gel 15ml
Awapuhi Wild Ginger sea spray 25ml
Monu calming cream 20ml full size?
Jelly Pong Pong lip frosting full size
Kryolan satin powder eye shadow full size
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference sachets
I love the Awapuhi spray, it smells gorgeous, the same as the Awapuhi hair oil I got in a previous GB, which I also loved.
Incidentally, I'm not sure if it's been mentioned on here, at the bottom of the card, it says if you take your GB card to a Debenhams Elizabeth Arden counter you'll get another deluxe sample.
So all in all, a box where I'll use everything, so I'm a happy bunny today.0 -
My Harrods glossy box arrived today yay!
miclare - I don't know about more natural ones but I have been using OPI nail envy and Avoplex oil for a few months and for the first time in my life have to cut my nails because they are too long. I have switched to nail envy maintenance which is supposedly a tiny bit better and stops them becoming too brittle. They do a dry and brittle nail envy too.0 -

Oh it absolutely is ok to buy things if you have a discount code + points  With the 20% discount and 10% in Amarya points, it's a total of 28% discount (assuming your order amount is an integer), plus they usually send orders out on the same day.
I just purchased an Inika foundation and Antipodes cleanser, and for some strange reason, at checkout the special delivery option was free - I'll take that then!
A little Amarya tip - because they don't give part points, it's better value for money if you spend £10.01 than £10.99, because in both cases you get 10 points. What I do is use my existing points to adjust the amount I pay so that I'm as far off as possible from the next pound. They offer free delivery on everything, so there's no loss in splitting up your order
Edited to add:
I think the 20% discount code BBJY8A (Antipodes, Inika, REN) also gives free special delivery if you only have these brands in your basket, but if you add another brand, special delivery goes back to £4.0 -

I ended up getting the Inika eye shadow in autumn plum and the mascara in a brown - a first for me! I got the special delivery too! Andthat's a great tip on working the points, there's so much I want to buy from there, I hope we get some Zoya and Neom in the next box as I want to buy some bits but it's cheaper elsewhere without the discount I think!
Oh and I paid with money in paypal - so that doesnt *really* count as real money does it and I then dont have to tell OH I've been shopping!
do you get points for reviewing things on Amarya or for getting the monthly box? I assumed I had an account as I get the box but I had to sign up, so hope I've not lost out on any points! xxNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -

I'd definitely give the Nail Envy a shot - it seems to work for most people and Em_illy clearly had great results.
My problem is that my nails grow fast but then they split and peel at the tips and they're really soft and bendy.
BUT - ah ha - my KIKO parcel arrived today and I am now wearing my gorgeous, shimmery, glittery clear nail polish with lashings of "Gel Look" top coat. Love it! We will have to see how well it lasts and whether it chips or not.
I also got my face powder which seems to do exactly the same thing as MAC skinfinish and is just beautiful. Plus, it is actually pale enough for my skin without being compeltely white! I am very happy - even though I have now had no kitchen for a whole week and won't have one until next Wednesday at the earliest. The miserable state of my flat completely justifies my reckless spending
Although I wish bunberry hadn't reminded me of the 20% code for Antipodes because I need some more Apostle serum but will have to pass this timeLiving with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

Oh thanks for the info! I really want the matt nail envy (or possibly the pale pink one but read hit and miss reviews on it) but it's cheaper to buy the normal nail envy and the avoplex oil together. Think I'll got for the matt and oil from Ebay xxNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -
can you order from amarya without being a subscriber to their box?£9500/£10000 baby fund saved so far0

I'm hoping for Zoya in the next box too!
Though even with a discount, assuming 20%, Zoya is still cheaper on ebay.
Don't think you get anything for reviews other than a chance to win a box. If you use Paypal to pay monthly for your beauty box, you won't get any points; you only get points if you sign up for the yearly option; £150 = 150 points = £15.
Seriously considering a yearly Amarya subscription... it's my favourite beauty box by far, but a better incentive to entice me in would be nice (*cough* free products *cough*) :rotfl:0
