Galaxy S or Iphone

I have a Galaxy S2 and love it, had an Iphone for about a month before I got my S2 and while I liked the iPhone the S2 is MUCH better.
The one thing that puts me off the iPhone is that it fails at the most basic function of being a phone, the signal/reception is awful and I found it very quiet on calls. I can put my S2 next to an iPhone and the S2 will have a full signal and the iPhone will struggle to find one.
That said, my only gripe with the S2 is battery life, if you use your phone a lot and play games etc. on it you will need to charge it a lot, I solved that by getting a high capacity battery from ebay.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

I can see the poster's logic, sometimes we do not all want to wear george clothing or drive a vauxhall, the handsets at the end of the day are at least equal, some are more equal to the individual user, the iphones do cost slightly more than some equal function/spec handsets and only the connectivity I see as a bonus (eg car audio control) but for the extra some cannot warrant the extra price.0 -

There was an article that suggests the free games hammer the battery more than paid for, due to the advertising banner and data connectivity also on the go.0 -

MALWARE ALERT!!!!
Had it nearly a year now and not had any sign of Malware on it, I think thats all stories made up by the iPhone crowd to make themselves feel better for spending all that extra money on a substandard phone with fruit on the back
Another thing, everyone I know with an iPhone refers to it as their "iPhone" everyone else with any other handset refers to it as their "mobile"
Hows that for superficial?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

I guess that depends whether you consider them broadly 'equal spec' to begin with. There might be something about one or the other that means they're no longer equal spec. And that's the one you should buy.0 -
