Galaxy S or Iphone

I ditched my iPhone for a Galaxy S2. iPhone and iTunes is far too restrictive.
iPhones aren't worth their premium any more. Not when there are better phones out there for less.0 -
Samsung Galaxy s2 offers you a lot of freedom with the phone; to modify, control and customize to your own preference. It is a very personal which is the great thing about it, no galaxy s2 looks the same, inside and out. Samsung has released the diagnostic tool which allows you to troubleshoot problems via this app, and with the Kies you will never have issues retrieving all your data.
It is up to the person, if they'd like something common that everyone has and is getting old, such as the Iphone, or to get the Galaxy s2 with their new OS Ice cream sandwich.
I'd say the Galaxy s2, although it's 2 years old, it still beat many phone on the market...by far0 -

The Galaxy S2 is as common as muck too. If you want a phone that isn't very common, you shouldnt buy either an iPhone or an SGS2 :P. the SGS2 is also only a year old, not 2! Frankly how common a phone is shouldn't be of any concern; you should buy the phone that's best for you.0 -
I see far more iPhones than I see SGS2's.
Just sayin'.0 -

Yeah the iPhone is definitely more popular; but that's not to say you don't see a lot of SGS2s either. Like I said, it's completely irrelevant anyway!0 -

I don't only because I don't really look to see who is using what handset, only place I notice is in the office, I think for some that get soured with the iphone is not for the handset itself, but the high monthly and thrown on additional charges insurance , after care etc etc, even the high £40pm can become £60-70 for after all is only another smartphone and only certain apps are used once the novelty has worn off, I think the S2 can be had for little over £20 per month now.0 -
As I sit here, at my desk in the office, there are a sum total of 6 people with iPhones.
I'm the only one with an SGS2. When I got it, they looked at me like I'd grown a 2nd head.
It was at that point I knew I was going to be happy with my purchase. However, my purchase was based on a cheap deal, not how popular my phone would be amongst my peers.0 -

It sounds odd to me that you'd base whether you like a phone or not on whether other people have the same phone or not. That's a bit too... Superficial for me.0
