:o I got another Du Maurier omnibus, different novels to the first one, £1.00. I guess omnibuses are like regular buses, you don't see one for a while then two of them come along together.........

Lovely bargains in the clothing line. I also have to tell myself that I can't buy every single per una garment I see secondhand, there simply isn't enough room at home for them all.

    Interesting.
    Which novels are they?
I'm guessing the 4 in the other one were:
    Rebecca
    My Cousin Rachel
    Frenchman's Creek
    Jamaica Inn

    Oxfam Ludlow yesterday.

Oxfam own wrapping paper (lovely design, reminded me of the Strawberry Thief) and a book of Moomins stories for my niece.

Then I had wanted a new pair of pyjama trousers (elastic gone in one of my 2 pairs) and there was an as new pair, FatFace cotton with sort of botanical drawings of different flowers. Just the job! £4 where they are around £30 on the FF website.

I also bought a teddy for my doggie and a book, Watching the English by Kate Fox. The book was £3 which was quite steep
I have this book, and love it. I believe my copy cost £1 :p

I gave away 5 smart work / going out dresses, a smart jacket, 4 blouses and six skirts to my sister yesterday. She expressed her gratitude by saying "great, these will fit me now I'm fat". (I'm 5'9" size 12-14, she's a 5'1" size 16).
