My favourite is this handbag for £3
This £6 tea cup
and this £3 cake stand!♥ Blogger at Victoria's Vintage Blog ♥0 -
Really love the tea cup! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

8 brand new pots of ELC poster paint for £3 and a glass butter dish for £2 - I like it even more than the £3 one I just broke!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I bought one of these today

for 3.99. It needed a wipe off as it was dusty but other than that it's in perfect condition and came with both cars and people, one of which is battery operated and makes noises. Really chuffed, a total bargain!0 -
I keep finding Olympus MJUIIs as most plastic film cameras are worth very little, this little gem goes for often over £50 on eBay.0

Hi everyone,
I stumbled across this thread last night and then lost it again this morning! Thankfully I found it again.
Well, I love charity shops with a passion! I must confess though, I like sniffing out a bargain to sell on eBay rather than keep for myself.
2012 is the year of decluttering in our home and we are going for GOLD, so I really mustn't keep the bargains that I see to myself.
Christmas
I have set myself a challenge of trying to buy as many Christmas presents from either charity shops or car boot sales. I'm doing really well at the moment - everything that I am buying is new even if the packaging is a little tired!
I shall really enjoy being part of this forum"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -

Today I bought a coat in a Marie Curie shop.
It cost me £30!!! BUT...it is a beautiful Paul Costelloe ankle length camel coat, - 70%wool 30% cashmere. Double breasted with pocket flaps...can you tell I am pleased?!
It needs a little nip in a the waist and a dry clean, but I am tall and can carry the length OK.Norn Iron Club member 4730
