Haven't had much time to mooch recently, but on Thursday I found a lovely BNWT grey knit H&M dress with a pleated satin collar. Original price was over £30, I paid £32021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I visited the local Cancer Research charity shop yesterday and spotted a paperback copy of Terry Pratchett's Hogfather for £1. It's the black cover edition with gold font on the cover, you can't buy them brand new anymore, so although it's a bit creased, I bought it.0

Wandered past the BHF shop this afternoon but as the woman with raffle tickets was stood in the doorway, I gave it a miss.
Don't they realise how off-putting that is? :mad:0 -

Yesterday I was overjoyed to find a brass votive lamp with my name on it! (Metaphorically). It has scrubbed up like gold
And just for a change, I bought another 14 books, inc “A Streetcar Named Desire”, an anthology of Paul Theroux’ short stories and the complete works of Samuel Johnson. I now have 5 cardboard boxes filled to the brim with books in my living room, all wiped clean but ready to transport when the time comes - this on top of my already heaving bookcases that I expanded a few weeks ago! I just want to lock myself away and readValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Some good and not so good moments at my local South London strip; all books and DVDs were 50p in one shop. I was considering a jumper in the Oxfam, but it was H&M and priced at £6 which I thought unjustified. They are an EYESORES!!!!0

I had to nip to the PO and Asda this morning so I called at 2 of the 3 CS in our village and sadly one of them is closing down as they are not making a profit, it has been there a long time and I have been calling in regularly all that time.
Anyway bittersweet as it was they were selling everything half price so I got
M&S navy & white Breton stripe top £1
Atmosphere fur lined gilet for DD for when we are out walking £1.50
Atmosphere navy patterned shawl/scarf £1
Boys Hype sweatshirt £1.75
Seasalt Mylor Jacket in blue £1.75
I was particularly happy about the Hype top as I have been trying to get DS one on ebay for ages but they go too high, this is currently being washed and will go away for Christmas for him.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Had a little excursionette to North Yorkshire for the week-end so on the way back called into Ripon and had a quick waltz around a few charity shops....not hugely impressed - high prices and mostly low quality goods but I did pick up a much needed replacement cover for my aged iPad. £1.25 and real 'faux' leather if there is such a thing!!:p Also stopped off in Harrogate where the quality of goods was slightly better but the prices were high so got nowt there.0
