  • I paid a visit to Oxfam in Skipton today and they were selling off quite a few Oxfam branded gifts. I got some little notebooks, with beaded panda design on the front, reduced from £3.99 to £1.10. Now hidden away in my Xmas stash for stocking fillers. I also spotted a lovely little black bag, with silk panel decorated with butterflies, brand new with tags, for £3.99. That was a present for myself!

Fab, I'm sure I read pink pyrex is worth lots of money now. I've had a few lovely bits of vintage pyrex over the last few months, my favourites being a huge Cinderella mixing bowl for £1.99 and a set of four mini casserole dishes, also £1.99 both in Barnados.

I did have a browse this weekend, absolutely nothing :(

Pink is one of the hardest to find. I found a pink gooseberry casserole dish. Paid 7.99CDn$ for it. Turns out collectors will pay 60+ for it.

Check out the Pyrex collective you are really serious about pyrex

Also a Thermos travel mug like this. They're £8.99 new so happy to pay 99p in good used condition

During the week I got a pair of M & S capri stylee trousers, as new, in a dark salmon colour for £4 from the Martin House Shop.

Then I found a Country Casuals jersey draped dress in a black/brown/white pattern- fits beautifully and only £2 from the hospice sale.

Sad news tho cos the hospice sale was the last one today for a few months. It is going to be refurbed and will open again as a proper chazza shop rather than a rummage sale. Prices will increase dramatically no doubt! :(
  • I've been looking for a tweed type jacket for months -I've ordered and sent seen lots online but none below the £70 mark!. I'd just about given up then found a beautiful one in a charity shop today which fits perfectly and cost the princely sum of £4.95, thus proving that good things come to those who wait :-D
