  • I'm trying to declutter so I don't buy much, but I did find a set of three oblong enamel dishes, brand new still with the labels on, £4.99 for the set. I've wanted some for ages. I shall take 3 of my Pyrex dish's to the charity shop on a 'one in, one out' basis.
    Chin up, Titus out.

Nice to hear you're starting them off young, marywooyeah. ;)

I bought a Wallis tunic dress in a black silky material with a bright and bold design of (I think) gladioli all down the front and back and it's fully lined.
    £4.99 Barnados

Will be OK as a short dress in the summer and with opaque tights and a cardigan in the winter.

Last week I bought a book I'd be keeping an eye out for (£1) and a BN puzzle set for the LO for £3.49. I deliberated on this for a while but then decided life is too short, I'll just sacrifice the next cup of coffee out which is a small price to pay.

It turns out it retails on eBay for £12.99, £7.29 on Amazon :)

Had a good haul yesterday from our local Air Ambulance shop.
Per Una dress in fuchsia pink, purple & black, fancy neckline, 3- quarter sleeves, slim-fitting. Still with paper inspection circle on the care label £1.00
Tu jersey (I love their jersey fabric) dark lilac dress with butterflies on. £1.00
All ladies clothes, shoes & handbags were £1 but I didn't have a lot of time to browse in the morning.

On the way home in the afternoon, I popped in again & bought 2 1,000 piece jigsaws - Brooklyn Bridge and Houses of Parliament & Westminster Bridge with reflection from the Thames. £1 for both.

Found diddly squat last week :(

Yesterday...turquoise glass tea light holder just the right colour for my bathroom - 25p

Stainless steel measuring thingy for portions of spaghetti - 25p

2 x HP printer cartridges, one black and one colour. Well past their use by date but still in the sealed packets - £1.50 each. (Anyone know how far past their use by date they might still work OK?)

My finds were a bit pricey. Local or me posh small town, good donations but they charge heavily.six charity shops or so to browse.
Nicole Farhi navy knee length very fine sleeveless knit top/ dress.£12 eek I know!
Jaeger black and camel wool stripped dress- more of a top for leggings for a tall un like myself.£10 very cosy, wore it yesterday.
Silky jersey short sleeve top in cream and blue with sort of bronze fabric at cuffs and neckline.looks good under the above navy top.£5
So, £27 spent on three items, not my best bargains but good quality clothing.
