P u f f a parker jacket, immaculate, £6.50. Think full retail in region of £200 judging by websites. Sale prices are about £150. Looks good, feels good, will be on my back tomorrow and some other items will be evicted to make space for it.
I would take it as a sign....God wants to to turn the heating off and keep this on your back for the rest of the winter :D

I nipped into a chazzer this lunchtime and restrained myself to just one book ("Neither Here Nor There") to add to the rest of my Bill Bryson collection. I had had half a mind that I might have already bought it, but I am pleased to report I did not.

There are however, 6 books that I have 2 or 3 copies of :o. On the plus side, they are excellent books well worth sharing with others.

Bought some TOG24 thermal leggings and matching top in red with white spots - arctic range.

Think the top and leggings would have been about £30 each, maybe more as that price is based on black.

Paid £5 for the set from Oxfam.
    Perfect fit. :)

Age UK shop yesterday. They had a full rail of assorted jackets, worth a look. Found two good quality casual, like new, ideal for walking. One waterproof, one warm and padded. £1 each. It is the only £1 charity shop I have seen.

  • Two antique (well, antique replica anyway) prints in nice wooden frames, 50p each.
DVD of 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' 50p.
Small Churchill ware creamer jug, 50p.

  • Strolled over to the local cs with a colleague at lunch time. She tried on a lovely purple wool coat. It was far too big for her as she has lost a lot of weight. So I tried it on. It fits perfectly. It was £10, so more than I would normally pay for a cs coat. Turns out it's a Jacques Vert and a Google revealed it was £299 new!

Went into Cancer UK as I'm on the lookout for some dressy tops. Nothing caught my eye in that department BUT I did manage to spend £20+: chunky Zara cardigan, bright green Hobbs cardigan, fine knit Jigsaw jumper, fawn pashmina and long, jade White Stuff scarf. As well as that I bought 2 birthday cards. I buy all my basic cards there. It's strange that most of us buy charity Christmas cards but charity birthday cards are excellent too.:)
