I was out with my sister today, and spotted a Crabtree & Evelyn set of six 25ml hand creams for £3. I wasn't sure whether I wanted it, so my sister said if I didn't buy it she would, so I bought it for her as a little birthday present, as it was her birthday on Monday. We don't usually do presents, but she had just bought me lunch!
I just looked it up and it is currently selling at £13, which is a half price offer down from £26! :T .I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Not been out at all since New Year's Eve, mooched round a couple of shops yesterday, nothing interesting clothes-wise but did buy a Nicci French book that I've not read (Blue Monday) that I'll recycle when finished.
And Nightfall by Nelson DeMille.
I read it a couple of years ago (it's based on the TWA800 flight that went down over Long Island in 1996) and thought it was a great story. I've been looking for a copy in decent condition for my 'library'.
And a new, sealed copy of the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel dvd for my collection when I'm in on my own and want a feel-good film.
50p each from the Sue Ryder shop.0 -
Lots of baby/kids clothes yesterday in the CS
Star Wars Babygrow for DS (hubby has been talking about getting him one for ages)
H&M shirt for DS
Next jumper for DS
Next top for DD
Best bargain though was a puddle suit for DS which is still online - originally was £40 but is £20 in the Jan sale.
All of the above were 50p each :j0 -
Our bargain of the month was a Nintendo Ds complete with 3 games for £20 and there was a 20% off that so £16. My DD was so chuffed as she'd been looking at them in Game at a lot more money just for the DS. I just have to say she is 21 years old and is having a retro moment.
At the same shop I managed to pick up a set of liqueur glasses for my bar cart set up ( and for my sherry obsession) for £4 so exceedingly chuffed.Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)
Grocery challenge November : £291.65/300.00 NSD 10
Grocery challenge December : £0/240.00 NSD0 -

Doesn't sound like much,but I'm pleased!
A brand new in bag, old 100% cotton checked tablecloth for £3.
It's going to make me all the tea towels I desperately need and an apron.
I'm looking forward to it, going to try and mitre the corners too for the first time. Heehee.Norn Iron Club member 4730
