I've looked every where for 2 new coats. Big coat for walking type stuff and a smaller 1 for pub trips. I was amazed when the shops wanted £40 for a "felt coat". 1 layer thin not lined + total rubbish. I went into my local charity shop and got just what I wanted for £10 each. Wore the black cord big coat to the match on Saturday and was lovely and warm. Going to ware the grey 1 to the pub now- sunday lunch. So pleased with my bargin's and as a plus helped a charity. Feeling a bit good about it all to be honest.0

I know the feeling! The more the merrier, I'm trying to limit unplanned expenditure (and increase NSDs!) but I can still get a vicarious thrill by hearing of other people's bargains!

I'm very confused. I can't find them and they're not in his wardrobe. I bought something else for myself in the same shop. Got three things, and I know where that other one is as I tried it on again at home to see it with something else. Grrr.
Turns out they were in his wardrobe, I left them on his desk chair and he's actually hung then up himself! No wonder I couldn't recall doing it
He wore one pair at the weekend, looked really good on him

Got lots of stuff for DS in the next two sizes ( 6-9 & 9-12 months, he's four months old already!) A couple of things for me and three great tops for DsS all in the £1 hospice clearance store (whilst avoiding the bits we donated back to them recently lol) but the best bit out of the three for £1 baby items box was a jojomamabebe hooded baby towel. Had what looked like blackcurrant stains on it but stain remover has dealt with that. Current version online is £18 :eek:Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

Popped into the Oxfam 'sale'.
Three Sea Salts skirts in my size, two had the tags still on (and cost £55.00 new) - the third had tags missing but was new. £8.99 each. Bought all three.
Took them to the till to be told the lady had just put them out as I walked in!
Wandered a bit further, brand new navy marks and sparkley cardi that matched the skirts.
So happy!0
