Popped out early this morning and the chazzers were empty. I bought 3 books for me, 6 story books and a velvet party dress for the little one :).

  • On a rare moment (I was delaying going back to meet my mum at the car), I went to the local BHF charity shop (haven't been in there for a couple of years due to the prices!), I bought Far from the Madding Crowd for £2 (book looks unread, so I thought I might as well), and The Hunger Games for half-price at £1. The lady tried to charge me the full £2 but I queried it, as it did have a half-price sticker on it. I felt a bit bad, but I only picked it up because it was £1.

They have a better arrangement of books than my other local charity shops, the non-fiction is in a separate section to the fiction, and the biographies have there own section.
  • Got a 25 litre Lowe and Alpine rucksack for £3 in a league of Friends charity shop and some stuff for my daughters DIECUT machine. As well as Christmas cards and wrapping paper. Run out to nearby town with 15charity shops.

Another two pairs of Next jeans in the next size up for DsS £2.49 each.

I'm very confused. I can't find them and they're not in his wardrobe. I bought something else for myself in the same shop. Got three things, and I know where that other one is as I tried it on again at home to see it with something else. Grrr.

  • I got my son a gorgeous Next coat in between Christmas and New Year. It's a summer one... waterproof type with a light fleece lining, looks brand new and was only 50p! I also got myself a New Look cardigan - grey with shimmer through it for £1.74 in the charity shop sale :)
  • My son wanted a barcelona football shirt for christmas but at almost £50 that was not possible, in the EACH shop yesterday his little faced beamed when he came across one for £6. He wore it all yesterday and is still wearing it today.
