What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

On The hotter and Clarks debate on the soles.I have had a pair of both which have done this. Both quite old pairs and I looked down to see chunks of the Hotters Black rubber sole all over the floor. They seem to go in big chunks with no warning :rotfl:
The clarks split right across the sole first and then started breaking off in chunks:(
So I wouldnt buy either of these Brands from Charity shops if you know they are an old style even if they look new as you dont know how long they have been hanging around. But it seems to be the style with the Black slight wedge sole and heel.Or in my case it was these.

I seem to be finding more independent charity shops springing up in small units. It seems that individuals are taking the initiative although I'm not certain of actual charitable status.
Yesterday I bought our little one an immaculate stuffed toy: a princess on a swing for £2 which I have hung from the stairs within her reach. (It looks like it's a brand but I can't find an image online). Eta: have had a good Google and it would seem it's from the Nintendo Princess Peach range:
Also a Disney microphone and stand for another £2. It will need a couple of batteries and to be hooked up to a system but I know she'll love it once we get it working.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

A small pot, made by Lovatts (competitor to Denby at its early stages).
It's a dust magnet but it makes me smile and it cost me all of twenty pence.

I got 2 books both new and excellent condition, Hairy Bikers perfect pie and River Cottage Veg everyday 99p each I've priced them up in Amazon £19.99 and £17. They also had 2 Jamie Oliver new books at 99p each but I didn't fancy them. Why pay full price when you may get it YS0

In our local Barnardos (where I bought loads of clothes and stuff for my Seychelles friend) they were selling 4 pairs of new- NEW flip flops for 99p!
Admittedly they are all the same colour (dark grey) but they'll please my friend if they're the right size. If not she can find someone to pass them into. Her trouble is that when she's back over Christmas, all summer stuff is obviously not in the shops. She's gonna need a bigger case! X0
