Are you sure you didn't stumble into TK Maxx by mistake? :rotfl:
Actually, that's not beyond the realms of possibility given this:

And it had quite a lot of bought-in tat too.

Popped into the cs today and got a brand new pair of m and s black trousers with the £35 label on for £1 a dress for dd £1 and a long cardigan I would wear with the trousers also for £1 I then saw some as new Toggi riding boots for youngest dd for £9.50 but I've brought them home and they are too small. Cs will take them back but just wished they had fitted :(

    I'd almost forgot this bargain!

Popped into our local Oxfam on the way up to see my sister on Tuesday and they had 3 big boxes of bras. These tend to be rejects, returns or left over sale items so you need to check that the wires aren't poking out etc.

I asked how much and was told 29p each or 3 for 99p.
    (think about it  ).

The downside is that the labels have been cut off! But I'm pretty good at assessing my size.
I was in a bit of a rush to catch a bus so picked up a sports bra that looked about my size, paid my 29p & ran.

I went back about 5 hours later and found another 1 sports bra for me, a sports bra for my sis and an ordinary one for me.
I tried them on and mentioned to the guy that their sign was wrong - i.e. if I bought 3 but paid separately, I'd pay 87p (3 x 29p) rather than 99p.
It took some doing but I finally got him to change his sign to "3 for 99p or 39p each'. :rotfl:

Really pleased, these are the sports bras:

ranging in price from £19.50 to £28.00.

    and this £22.50 (Autograph).

Not often I get to post on here :)
Yesterday I picked up 4 child sized garden chairs for £5.95. I'd seen them outside th shop earlier in ge week when I'd driven past but couldn't stop, luckily they were still there :j
Now there won't be any fights over the 2 chairs when DD has all her friends over :T

You did really well! There was a similar post a while ago - was it knickers? - but there is a dearth of Oxfam locally. My nearest shop is not known for its bargains, apart from books at 99p.

That was me too - and it was more bras. ;)

Posted on 10/7/2015 - pretty good memory you have. :)

Our local Oxfam have 2 big boxes of M&S bras.

Some appear to be new, some are clearly returns (underwire protruding etc).

They are priced at 3 for..........99p!

The labels have been cut out but I can estimate what might fit me and try them on.

I've bought 2 sports bras like this (£25.00):

    SD_02_T33_6479_Y4_X_EC_90?$PRODVIEWER_SUB$

One like this (£22.50) plus one same style but different colourway for my sister to run in:
    SD_02_T33_6470_YZ_X_EC_90?$PDP_PROD_IMAGE$
Another underwired sports bra (part of a 2 pair pack at £29.50)

    2 x minimiser bras.

1 x Rosie for Autograph with detachable straps and the labels still on. I know this won't fit me but I'll pass it on to my sister to try and if it doesn't fit she can pass it round to her friends and it will end up at our local Hospice shop if there are no takers.

1 x Autograph one for me.

    Plus others for me.

I estimate I've got over £200 worth of bras for less than £5.00. Very happy indeed.

It's just a case of hitting it at the right time - and having the time to rummage.

It was because I made a special trip into E18 when I read it :D Not that it was wasted, it's a lovely place and we had a nice afternoon.

I doubt I could be so accurate about assessing the size by eye though. I understand why the brand labels are cut off, but not why the size and washing instructions meet the same fate.

    Brilliant buy with the bras!

The pricing reminded me of a charity table top sale - saw a set of lovely books rrp 9.99 each and in perfect condition and was told £1 each or all four for £5. I queried this several times but they just looked puzzled. So I bought all four but paid for them one by one. Stallholder still didn't get it...
