I doubt I could be so accurate about assessing the size by eye though. I understand why the brand labels are cut off, but not why the size and washing instructions meet the same fate.
Other than the one that I picked up in a hurry (which fits perfectly, btw) I rummage for the ones that look like they'll fit then try them on in the shop. ;)
I can't work out why they cut the whole label off either.

Fab bundt pan, CJ - I'd love to see the cake when it came out.

  • I've just out what must rank as one of my best ever CS buys in the recycling bag - a pair of Bill Blass black cords bought about 5 years ago for £2, and a winter wardrobe staple ever since! The zip finally gave up on Saturday, after a lot of wearing, and they're going back to the shop I got them from so that they can make a bit more from the recyclers.

I'm having CS withdrawal symptoms as I crocked my ankle before Christmas and still can't get about much.....

I always buy my greetings cards from Charity Shops .
They are much cheaper than most card shops & the money goes to good causes.

Barnardo's cards are usually 89p which I think is good value anyway, but today Barnardo's had lots of cards, gift wrap & gift bags reduced by at least 50%.

They had so many designs at 19p or 39p including Get Well, Thankyou, Sorry, Engagement, Wedding , New Home , Thinking of you.

Lots of blank ones with lovely designs too.
Not reduced in my local store, but still worth exploring. Satisfied myself with 3 books for £5 instead.

My local Scope has a box of BN fancy bras for 50p each - with sizes!

Hope is not a strategy :D...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

  • All baby related :

Got new contented baby book by Gina ford and the baby whisperer by Tracey Hogg for €2 - very happy as Gina ford one is €9 at least new.

Also got a newish microwaveable bottle steraliser for €5 - saved at least €10 and it's a big one that does fit in my microwave (had to check when I got home).

Lovely lady also threw in a munchkin formula dispenser for free! Don't plan on formula feeding but I have it anyways as a handy container - think they are worth one or two euro so very pleased with my haul!

Also going to pick up a Mamas and papas grobag later off a lady for €5, which is really cheap compared to their actual price - usually around €30 :O
    094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250
