What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

Wow! I'm impressed by the wonderful New Year bargains everyone has had so far.
Trying not to visit charity shops too often at the mo as no room for more bargains at present, but popped into one today and picked up a huge 700ml glass bottle of Pecksniffs sandalwood and vanilla bath soak, still sealed and with the lovely black tassel round the neck, just £1.95. Thought it was posh stuff so when I got home checked their website and the stuff is retailing at £35:eek:
Probably an unwanted Christmas gift, now in my gift stash0 -
I am getting chaz withdrawal symptoms, watch me quiver with envy at your NY finds!
I still want a spiraliser, first one on this board to bag one will be crowned Queen of The Chazzers (as well as being a lucky wot-not).
Eta: I've just done some research, it seems that not all spiralizers are the same, here's a handy guide to the best and prices when BN. So the one I saw for £5 on Gumtree earlier is not worth having unless you have asbestos hands.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Sorry....me again!
Today in the Community chazza I found a dark grey denim-ey sort of straight skirt by Kaliko on the £1 rail. Trouble is...it is full length...down to the floor....why??? :undecided Will have to dig out my sewing machine and lop off a few inches. Not sure if I can remember how to thread the thing up now tho...tis so long since I used it.....:o0 -
I went a bit chaz-mad on books earlier today. I had to return a blouse that was a poor fit to CRUK so exchanged it for a cuddly toy for the baby and a book: 1Q84, Book One and Book Two by Murakami - 623 pages of deliciousness to keep me going
Then went onto PDSA and bought another 3 books! I did spot other potential bargains although didn't stop to browse: one rail of women's clothes was £2 / item, BoGoF, and another just £1 each but no return. Also their wooden advent calendar was reduced down to £14.99.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Not posted as been clearing out to give others the benefit lol;) Nipped in to my local CS as its easy to park just to drop off.. I just had to give the rails a quick once over on the way out didn't I? Result, a beautiful soft leather coat for DH - marked xxl but didn't look that big and the same make as his heavy Biker jacket so very well made. Perfect fit - DH very happy with it and £25!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

I popped in with a bag of kids clothes we'd de cluttered (after de cluttering the set of drawers to the tip). I spotted a wooden framed print of Lego characters (batman, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiamna jones), Ds1 obsessed with Lego super heroes and we've just decorated his bedroom so the print was perfect £1.49 addition.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

I went to my local Scope charity shop, and spotted some Agatha Christie book club/crime club book reprints and a Val McDermid hardback. They had a buy one get one free sale on books. So I purchased one of the Agatha Christie hardbacks and the Val McDermid for £2. I went back later in the afternoon, and purchased two more of the Agatha Christies, and a paperback copy of The Twits, alongside a Penguin paperback copy (modern) of The Road to Wigan Pier. The hardbacks were £2 for the two, and the two paperbacks were £1 altogether.
I later spotted the Agatha Christie hardbacks had originally come with a part-works magazine, and they have a name written in them, but still for a £1 each they weren't bad!0 -
I got a Gap cardigan in oatmeal for £1.25 and a travel book about Los Angeles for £3. A bit expensive but we're going there in 3 weeks and the other guides are £14.99 or more.0
