    Hello everyone.

I bought a gorgeous gold bauble wreath for my front door for £4.00 from my local hospice shop.

After getting it home it has dawned on me that I can't put a nail in the front door as its metal, so I figured I need to get one of those wreath hangers.

Where on earth are they stocked?

I've been into Tesco and home bargains but nothing.

    Any suggestions please? X
I bought a set of ?8 metallic-looking hooks with adhesive backing really cheaply years ago, from the 99p shop, I think. They stay put on my metal front door (inside and out).

£4 Wok Red Cross Charity shop

The owner or manager strips the shop bare of anything nice by selling in Dress agency shops and on carboots as I frequent those places too and have seen her there too.

Has anybody seen any Diane Von Furstenburg stuff in a charity shop?

Yes, in my local "upmarket" (residents think they're something!) small coastal town, along with Karen Millen, the odd McQueen handbag & lots of L.K.Bennett shoes.

That's a bit naughty especially as she is the one who probably prices it up as well. It should definitely make it to the shop floor before staff get to take their pick imho.

Are these dress agency/car boots on behalf of the Red Cross or does the manager pocket the cash?
If it's the latter, I think I'd be getting in touch with the charity about it.

    Floss you are so lucky.

I don't know what the manager does. I just assumed she was making as much money for the charity by other means. I haven't approached her or anybody as I think I cannot police her all the time. She is going to do what she does anyway. Some people!

Not charity shop but Christmas street fair: 2 very large round yellow enamel bowls with handles, and a large bread bin with lid, set of 3, £10! Just what I needed to wash up in the sink and not use a plastic bowl! And the bread bin will be great to keep bulk flour or cereals!

Just a few stalls down, in a vintage shop, ONE single enamel bowl was selling for £20! Am delighted with this bargain.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
