I'm a bit doubtful these days of toiletries bargain finds.

Me too the prices round 'ere don't make it worthwhile as well as the tat treen. I suppose I don't really know my prices when it comes to treen so it all seems really expensive. I don't need it so don't bother looking unless it's something I know such as Denby if you ever find it.
Its label says do not wash

That's what I love about charity shop stuff it most likely already has been pre-disastered according to the wash label whether it's shrunk or colour ran.

I'm staying in today (shame) as weather is terrible and is usually good buying day as nobody else will be out if you know what I mean. I spent all my money last week on luxury goods such as leather handbags, boots and jewelry which I needed from the charity shop! so no money and staying in. Boo.

I've had a great bargain today (well -a bargain to me!)
I'm making a crafting hamper for a friend- she has started making personalised pictures in box frames with scrabble, maps and pebbles etc.
So I've nearly done the actual contents, today I found....not sure how I can describe it ...it's a sort of 3 drawer long chest, but it would sit on a desk, the type of thing that may have been in a bank years ago with forms in the drawer compartments, its about 12 inches high and about 24 inches long, and 18 inches deep.
All the crafting things I have bought will fit into the drawers!

It was £2.50, I am soooo pleased with myself!

It does need probably need painting, but she also paints in chalk paint, which she can do to match her craft room!:j:j:j:j

toozie - that sounds a great bargain gift - no wonder you're pleased with yourself.
And I'll bet your friend will be over the moon. :T

    She will!
    Can't believe it!
It was quite cobwebby-so it's been scrubbed inside & out and piled on draining board to dry, would have put it outside but its' blowing a hoolie and raining sideways now!

Just one 'find' so far this week.....a botany wool round necked cardigan by Country Casuals in a caramel colour with loads of tiny multi-coloured spots embroidered all over, (not selling it very well am I?), good as new and £4 in the Martin House Hospice shop. Got just the right trousers, shirt, shoes and bag, (all sourced from very 'exclusive' shops:p), to go with it!
  • Hello everyone.

I bought a gorgeous gold bauble wreath for my front door for £4.00 from my local hospice shop.

After getting it home it has dawned on me that I can't put a nail in the front door as its metal, so I figured I need to get one of those wreath hangers.

Where on earth are they stocked?

I've been into Tesco and home bargains but nothing.

    Any suggestions please? X

Bought a cabin-sized 2 wheel trolley case - 'it' make which is world's lightest luggage - for £3.00 from Barnados.
    Unmarked inside & out.
Lady in shop said 'I put this out when we opened' and that was 3 minutes later, I was their first customer.
