To be fair I never did occur to me the manager could be selling them on behalf of the charity.

My chazzer finds were a book I'd always wanted to read (not a bargain at £2, but hey the money goes to charity) and an absolute steal of a book of 99p, albeit a disturbing subject. I can't wait to read it!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

On reflection, you've made me think about this a bit more and I'm not so sure you should do a note to self.
If this woman is using a dress agency and car boots to sell donated goods, that will incur costs that would not have been incurred if the item was sat in the shop.
That money spent - even if she is doing it above board for the charity - should be in the shop till, not in the pocket of some dress shop owner or car boot organiser.
In addition, if she's taking all the good stuff, that may make people less inclined to visit the charity shop if there's only tat in there.0 -
Yes they come in curvy, really curvy and super curvy depending on your size. In the shops they are usually out of my budget so I was pretty pleased when I spotted it.0

Just bought a dehumidifier for £8. Newish. Got the charity shop to switch it on whilst I went shopping. Some water in reservoir when I got back and it's been working OK overnight. Bargain.0

£4 Wok Red Cross Charity shop
The owner or manager strips the shop bare of anything nice by selling in Dress agency shops and on carboots as I frequent those places too and have seen her there too.
Has anybody seen any Diane Von Furstenburg stuff in a charity shop?
I think an interested customer might mention that to her out loud in front of her colleagues..
Something along the lines of Oh I have seen you selling at the dress agency and the car boot fair recently, do you do that for the red cross too? That's very enterprising and generous..
:P
If she is doing it above board, it will be a compliment and if not, her colleagues will be all ears and she will know she is not as invisible as she thought.0
