What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

I think Charity shops are great for finding those things that other shops no longer sell. I looked everywhere for small sherry glasses for example- found them in a charity shop.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

Also got a crackled glass large candle holder for 50p and an amethyst glass bud vase for 10p....then on the way back spotted a load of sloes on the roadside just perfect for Chrimbo sloe gin :j0 -
My bargain today even though it is raining a wooden sun lounger with cushion for £20, really good condition. Will put away till next year.
Also a stair gate for £7
2 dresses and a jacket for £3.
Really pleased with my haul today.:j:j0 -
I without fail manage to find 4 items for my toddler (for now or to grow into) in the '4 for 99p' kids clothes bin.
Today saw a gorgeous hand knit cardigan (feels like cottton/bamboo blend to me) for the grand total of <25p
It must have taken someone hours! I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it! Feels like robbery taking away quality items for so little!0 -

My only find this week pales in comparison
An M & S, pink and white striped, linen overshirt that I was coveting early in the summer in M & S....think it was £35 new. New to me yesterday for £2.750 -
OH and I had been wondering what to get DD (13 yrs) for Christmas. I suggested maybe a guitar as she has been teaching herself ukulele tunes over the summer holidays with the aid of youtube. She also plays piano and alto sax. He thought it was a good idea as she doesn't really 'need' anything. That afternoon I took a trip to the local CS to drop off a box of donated clothes DD has grown out of and there was a guitar for £11.99. Christmas is sorted - apart from a set of new strings and a how to play book which shouldn't be too hard to source.
Last night DD told me she would like to put a guitar on her Christmas list as some of the tunes she was learning didn't really suit the ukuleleI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Yesterday spent some moments trying to work out purpose of stack of purple cards, edge-decorated either in gold or silver, each hand-done.

...which is about as long as it took me to realise I had a deck of cards, to sort them [all present and correct], to slip the beautiful purple satin ribbon back round, to pay 49p, to depart.
I love them.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
